Some sakes have a texture that makes the food pairing game more interesting. Imagine a Nigori sake (with sake lees) with a creamy dish. The sensation on the mouth would make it match perfectly well. With sake, all of this is happening, but again, it is somehow much more versatile than wine, there are better chances to succeed in a food pairing menu.
