In conjunction with today’s album announcement, DeMarco is announcing a North American tour and sharing two lead singles - “My Old Man” and “This Old Dog. Every record is shipped in original factory-applied shrink wrap and has never been touched by human hands. Over the past few years we have watched Mac develop from a cult artist to a standout figure amongst the realm of the indie mainstream. The majority of this album is acoustic guitar, synthesizer, some drum machine, and one song is electric guitar. My favourite songs are "This Old Dog" "On The Level" and "Moonlight On The River" which is slow and dreamy to start with but then finishes with Mac adding guitar effects and reverb, which actually works well! I find that I prefer the extra saturation and air on this pressing over the digital download when I correct these issues. I usually demo on a drum machine and then record real drums, but I liked that machine so much I kept it on the album.
