About this deal

At the very least, learning about dinosaurs improves your children's knowledge of world history. That knowledge can lead to a number of things, from a better understanding of the passage of time to writing exciting creative pieces about dinosaurs. The information is there for the kids to do whatever they want with it! What were dinosaurs? Many of these activities, such as the dot-to-dot sheets, are also great for helping your kids develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. These are valuable skills to develop because they can be applied to so many other parts of life! Please note: Pin Cards contain small parts, and are not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

As the team enter the ice cream freezer, Milli says that the big fan in the freezer keeps the ice cream cold so all the treats don't melt. As they leave the freezer after obtaining the roaring head, they turn the fan off. Assumably, all the ice cream in the freezer would have melted.

The Stompysaurus by Rachel Bright and Chris Chatterton is the latest book in the DinoFeelings series. Those familiar with The Worrysaurus and The Hugasaurus will not be surprised to learn that it has been included in Empathy Lab’s 2023 Read for Empathy Collection.

Due to this possible interest in dinosaurs, kids may also learn more about the concept of evolution itself. Evolution, at it's core, is a simple concept, however presenting this concept in an interesting way by using dinosaurs as an example can make the learning process more exciting, and therefore more beneficial! This is because many of the most popular dinosaurs have very distinct evolutionary characteristics, making them easy-to-use examples of how evolution works! Before Geo gets in the fish tank, he puts on scuba gear. After he grabs the Stompasaurus's stomping feet, in the next scene, his scuba gear is gone before he gets out of the water. When the team enter the bowling alley, they find DoorMouse working there, who won't let them enter without putting on bowling shoes first. Milli knows what size shoes she wears, but Geo and Bot don't Milli uses Milli Measure to find out what size their feet are to get bowling shoes and access the bowling alley. The Team must use a freezing fan in a freezer to measure airpower to have Milli float to retrieve the roaring head. They change the settings on the fan to blow higher and lower, and figure out the perfect setting that will allow Milli to grab the roaring head. Does the book contain anything that teachers would wish to know about before recommending in class (strong language, sensitive topics etc.)?
