On top, the robot has an Auto mode button and a raised TrueMapping Distance Sensor, which allows it to map and efficiently navigate your home. Yes, the robot washes its own mopping cloth, but you should still periodically toss it in the laundry machine or hand wash it with soap for a deeper clean. This allows it to mop your hard floors and vacuum low- to medium-pile carpets in a single pass. We measured the base station to be 42.0 cm in height, 41.0 cm in width, and 49.5 cm in depth. This is quite a large size to fit into the house and is something you should consider before buying. You must have access to the base station because you will have to empty the dirty water tank, fill up the water tank, and change the dust bag from time to time. Conventional robot vacuum-mop combos usually drag a wet cloth behind them. This is not cleaned at any stage during the cleaning process.The Deebot X1 Omni's clean and dirty water tanks each have a 4-liter capacity. When I run the mop daily in my roughly 1,000-square-feet home, I only need to empty and refill the water tanks about once a week. The S7 MaxV Ultra's water tanks are a bit smaller, so you have to refill and empty them more often.
