Try to tell me that the sight of a Witch still doesn’t fill you with dread and I will call you a liar. Housemarque has gone on to bigger things like Returnal, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had with their “simpler” games.

Zombie Panic in Wonderland is a third-person arcade shooter, the Wii version was released exclusively for the WiiWare service. The game world represents a multiverse merging multiple fable figures into one zombie apocalypse. The players control one of these figures such as Momotaro, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, and Alice from Alice in wonderland as they fight their way shooting hordes of zombies. A survival horror game similar to DayZ in which the player must survive for as long as possible. A lot of controversy has surrounded this game due to its close resemblance to DayZ. Sure, it’s clunky at points, has enough rough edges to cut someone, and is perhaps too slow in getting to the good stuff, but give Days Gone and Deacon a chance and they will win you over.”Other than that, there’s a wanted system which can bring about new enemies, and a decent crafting system as well. Resources gathering and management can feel cumbersome at first, so I’d lean towards recommending this game for experienced survival game fans.

Either way, fans enjoy it, they keep playing it, and even though we’re not getting a Call of Duty release this year, when one arrives next year, you can expect something zombified to show up. #5 Resident Evil 7 Open World survival horror game set in the last bastion of humanity, city of Villedor, an expansive environment overrun by a vicious outbreak. Before too long, the stressful dynamics of keeping everyone happy and, most importantly, alive feels far more engaging than any episode of The Walking Dead.
