About this deal

Featuring the boisterous Hamilcar Bear-eater, Double or Nothing finds our larger-than-life Stormcast Eternal trying to defend a Sigmarite city in the wilds of Ghur from an unstoppable force of orruks via unorthodox means. There’s also an episode of Loremasters covering the Sons of Horus – a once-glorious Legion laid low by hubris, ambition, and the temptations of Chaos. Meanwhile the Warhammer Vault gets the lore sections from Imperial Armour: Volume 6 – The Siege of Vraks – Part 2 and the February 2022 edition of White Dwarf. Warhammer Community Featuring a total of 60 special weapons of six different types – 10 each of flamers, plasma guns, meltaguns, rotor cannons, volkite charger, and volkite calivers, each with five slightly different designs – the Special Weapons Upgrade Set will give you plenty of options for turning your Mark VI Space Marines into Tactical Support Squads. Heavy Weapons Upgrade Set – Missile Launchers and Heavy Bolters Veterans of the Horus Heresy may recognise these adornments from the resin Contemptor Dreadnoughts currently available from Forge World. They’ve been rebuilt and retooled to work with the new plastic model in all its versatile glory. Raven Guard MKVI Heads: March 17th, 2023 Company Command Squad • Reclusiam Command Squad • Captain ( Primaris Captain) • Lieutenant ( Primaris Lieutenant • Vanguard Lieutenant) • Company Ancient ( Bladeguard Ancient) • Company Champion

The fun times aren’t just for the VII and XVI Legions, however – the book also provides full rules for playing games of Zone Mortalis, fresh core and narrative missions, a new campaign system, Legiones Decurion upgrades to represent skilled tank commanders, the Infernus Abomination for the Traitor Legions, and rules and lore for Inductii of every Legion – unstable Astartes hastily recruited while the Heresy was in full swing.* Campaigns of The Age of Darkness: The Siege of Cthonia (ePub) Bionic augmentation is standard in the X Legion, who abhor weakness so wholly they replace their flesh long before it has the chance to fail them. These five resin torsos for MKIII Tactical Squads show off these augmetics – along with a sculpted hand icon. Iron Hands MKIV Shoulder Pads Go big on the creepy vibes with a set of 10 resin shoulder pads bearing the Night Lords Legion symbol, a charming mash up of skulls and leathery wings showing that Kurze’s lot are completely committed to the bit. Iron Hands MKVI Heads: November 25th, 2022

Welcome to our new series on the units of the Legiones Astartes! This series will serve as a prelude to our deeper dives on each legion. In these articles we’ll cover the units that every Legiones Astartes army can field, how they operate, how you might want to equip them, and what you want to point their guns/combat weapons at on the table.

Some weapons have ‘Blast’ listed in their profile’s abilities. These are referred to as Blast weapons. In addition to the normal rules, the following rules apply to Blast weapons: The sons of Vulkan share their home planet of Nocturne with massive fire drakes, and these savage reptiles feature in much of the Legion’s heraldry. Raven Guard Contemptor Torso For a broader size comparison, the new Mk VI marines are about the same size and height as the current plastic Chaos Space Marines, though slightly shorter than the Thousand sons and Death Guard, and less bulky than either. They sit about a head shorter than Primaris marines. BuildThis upgrade kit can be used to customise Legionaries from the MKVI Tactical Squad set with new heads, replacing the standard helmets with Ultramarines-specific headgear. The kit includes nine helmeted heads in three different designs, each with armour panel seams and alternative grille pattterns, as well as two heads designed for Sergeants – one bare head with noble features and a laurel wreath, and one beaked helm with an impressive transverse crest. Spread these components around your army to add some XIII Legion flavour, or outfit entire squads for an elite, unified look. Ultramarines MKVI Shoulder Pads: January 21st, 2023 Chain bayonets also have the Shred rule so will re-roll all failed wound rolls too, making them even more deadly and reliable. Forge World is also supporting the new edition of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy *** with a range of items – first up, even more accessories to make your Legions look the best they can. Sons of Horus MKVI Shoulders Pads and Heads This upgrade kit can be used to customise Legionaries wearing MKIII, MKIV, and MKV armour with torsos featuring ornate Raven Guard iconography. The kit includes five torsos in three different designs – incorporating avian skulls, stylised wreath-wings, and the Raven Guard Legion icon. Spread these components around your army to capture that signature XIX Legion aesthetic, or outfit entire squads to mark them out as elite Legion Veteran Squads. Raven Guard MKII Shoulder Pads: February 3rd, 2023

The kit includes nine helmeted heads in three different designs, each with a sinister trench spike and industrial rivets, as well as two heads designed for Sergeants – one bare head with a rebreather, and one helm with a unique grille and imposing spike. Spread these components around your army to add some XIV Legion flavour, or outfit entire squads for an elite, unified look. Despite what their enemies might claim, there are definitely wolves on Fenris, home planet of the VI Legion. So it makes sense that the Iron Priests would design some helmets that look like snarling wolf heads! Of course, for those who prefer the topknot and beard look,* there’s a bare head too – and even a classic combo of helmet and top knot! This multipart plastic kit builds 20 Space Marine Legionaries, which can be fielded in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy as a Legion Tactical Squad of 20 models, or two units of 10 models. Each of these Legionaries is armed with a Umbra-pattern bolter and bolt pistol, with a variety of additional components such as grenades and pouches, and can also be equipped with a bayonet or chain bayonet for melee fighting. You can also build up to two Legionaries with a Legion vexilla, two with a nuncio-vox, and two with an augury scanner. Accessories and alternate heads are included to build a Legion Tactical Sergeant for each of your squads – the kit offers a variety of extra weapon options for these unit leaders, including plasma pistols, power swords, power fists, and lightning claws. These models have no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint them in whichever colours they choose – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 339 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This set of 11 resin heads allows you to accessorise and upgrade your own sons of Perturabo with an extra twist of Legion flair. On top of nine skull-faced helmets in three different designs, there’s a cyborg bare head and an appropriately-decorated helm for officers – why waste bolter shells when you can recycle them into a fancy crest? This upgrade kit can be used to customise Legionaries from the MKIII Tactical Squad set with shoulder pads bearing the raven glyph of the Raven Guard. The kit includes 10 shoulder pads, each bearing a raised, sculpted icon that makes them simple to paint in the Legion’s signature colours, with a heavy, reinforced design to suit MKIII ‘Iron Armour’. Spread these components around your army and combine them with transfers to capture that signature XIX Legion aesthetic, or outfit entire squads for an elite, unified look. Raven Guard Veteran Torsos: February 3rd, 2023Colin: I haven’t been able to paint mine yet, but I have to say I’m really looking forward to it. Not going to over-complicate the scheme, just that iconic sea-foam green of the Sons of Horus. They’ll take weathering really well and should paint up really efficiently. Can’t wait!

In plastic, there’s the Primaris Company Champion and the Blood Angels Captain in Terminator Armour. In resin are Brother Corbulo, Chapter Master Pedro Kantor, Chapter Master Gariel Seth, Flesh Tearers Shoulder Pads, Darnath Lysander, Dark Angels Company Master, Captain Sicarius, Sergeant Chronus, and Sergeant Telion. In resin, with plastic parts are Captain Tycho, Chaplain Cassius, and the Tyrannic War Veterans. And finally, in metal and plastic is the White Scars Khan on Bike. Mark IV 'Maximus Armour' was designed to offer a fine balance of agility and durability, exploiting many of the advanced technologies recovered by the Great Crusade. Its comparatively lightweight design, armoured external cabling, and redesigned helm make it prized amongst the Legiones Astartes – in the Age of Darkness, the Mark IV is perhaps the most common pattern of power armour seen across the galaxy.

The IX Legion can make even the workhorse MkIII Iron armour look like a work of art, as shown by the intricate insignia on these 10 resin shoulder pads. Blood Angels MkIV Torsos: How about an even bigger gun? How about six guns on one chunky tank? The Kratos Heavy Assault Tank is one of the most well-armed-and-armoured tanks on the battlefields of the Horus Heresy. It’s got a dizzying variety of guns – choose from three massive main weapons for the turret, four paired hull weapons, and four different duos of sponson weapons. Legion Tactical Squads excel at all ranges of combat, but if close-quarter engagements are expected they will arm themselves in the Despoiler configuration, trading their standard bolters for pistols, chainswords, and other melee weapons.
