About this deal

Allosexism grants privilege to those who experience attraction and leads to prejudice against and erasure of asexual people. Androsexual People who consider themselves androsexual feel attraction toward men, males, or perceived masculinity, irrespective of whether or not they were assigned male at birth. Aromantic Many people who identify as grayromantic do experience some romantic attraction, but perhaps not at the same level or frequency as those who identify their sexuality or romantic orientation as something other than asexual. Gynesexual Personal testimonies of young people reveal that emotional dangers of premature sexual involvement are real [ 25].

This romantic orientation describes people who experience romantic attraction only under specific circumstances, such as after building an emotional relationship with a person. Fluid People who identify as bicurious are interested in having a sexual or romantic experience with someone of the same gender. The acronym that often describes people who don’t identify as exclusively heterosexual or exclusively cisgender.A woman or female-identified person who experiences sexual, romantic, or emotional attraction to people of the same or a similar gender. However, it’s important to note that not all lesbians are female-identified; some define their identity as more nonmale or femme than female or feminine. Of all the "communions of persons" that people can create; Scripture tells us that marriage is the fundamentally unique relationship (see Church Teaching on Marriage; Church Teaching and NFP; see also Marriage: Unique For A Reason). "[Conjugal love] is an 'affective union,' spiritual and sacrificial, which combines the warmth of friendship and erotic passion, and endures long after emotions and passion subside" ( Amoris Laetitia, 120). God willed that marriage be the unique communion of persons, indeed, a covenantal relationship, that is designed for the well-being of husband and wife (the "one-flesh" union) and the "begetting and educating of children." (see Gaudium et Spes, 50). Marriage, as willed by God, builds the family! It is well known that, from the standpoint of public health, sexual relations among teens represent a risk factor [ 1– 4]. Existing literature points to the alarming consequences of premature sexual involvement among adolescents [ 5, 6]. Examining cross-country data, Wellings et al. establish that men and women in most nations begin sexual activity at ages 15 to 19 [ 7]. Far from settling with a marital or cohabiting partner, teens engaging in premature sex increase their risk of exposure to sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and teenage pregnancy. According to UNAIDS and the World Health Organization, the global AIDS epidemic continues to grow and the number of deaths due to AIDS is increasing in most continents [ 8]. Every year, 14 million adolescents give birth, which in developing countries translates to one in three women under 20 years of age [ 9]. Owing to the health consequences, adolescent sexual behavior is certainly a growing concern.

A term that describes people who are sexually or romantically attracted to multiple or varied sexes, genders, and gender identities, but not necessarily all or any. Straight God blessed them and God said to them: "Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it." (Gn 1:28) God's plan for human love and sexuality is good news! "The joy of love experienced by families is also the joy of the Church" ( Amoris Laetitia, 1). All that the Catholic Church teaches about human love and sexuality comes from this truth: that God, who is love, created all people in his image—male and female he created them—to share his love and therefore to reflect his love in the world and in their lives. Jesus Christ fully reveals who God is as a Triune communion of love—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He shows us the face of God and shows us who we are, and who we are called to be. Love and sexuality are bound up in this noble truth! Cupiosexual: If someone identifies as cupiosexual, they do not experience sexual attraction but still desire to engage in sexual behavior or have a sexual relationship. Monosexual is an umbrella term encompassing all sexual orientations that feel a romantic or sexual attraction toward only one gender.A word and category describing those who experience sexual attraction. Use of this term helps normalize the experience of people on the asexual spectrum and provides a more specific label to describe those who aren’t part of the asexual community. Allosexism Tony McNicol (April 27, 2004). "Does comic relief hurt kids?". The Japan Times. Archived from the original on September 7, 2011 . Retrieved January 18, 2008. A term that describes people who can experience romantic, or emotional (but not sexual) attraction to any person, regardless of that person’s gender, sex, or sexuality. Polysexual The "intimate partnership of life and the love" that God designed for marriage has its own unique characteristics (see Gaudium et Spes, 48). First, husband and wife are called to form a permanent communion of persons. Second, spouses are called to be stewards of the gift of life. They are to welcome children generously to their marital union. "The fruitfulness of the human couple is a living and effective 'image,' a visible sign of [God's] creative act" ( Amoris Laetitia, 10). Indeed, the Church teaches that Christian spouses receive a "kind of consecration in the duties and dignity of their state" ( Gaudium et Spes, 48).
