When I have set my Global settings on the NK Studio I try to write these settings to the controller and I get a message that says "Failed to Open MIDI port." And indicates port 0. We also provide a plug-in for using nanoKONTROL Studio with Apple GarageBand/Logic Pro X. Simply install this plug-in and connect it to the nanoKONTROL Studio.

With the Korg NanoKontrol in Assignable Mode, I have used the Korg Editor to assign CC numbers to the 24 buttons, 8 knobs and 8 faders. This bit I don’t understand, but it may not matter. I don’t think I adjust graphic controls except with the mouse.
