About this deal

the above use terms from psychology/neurosciences/cognitive sciences so be wary if not aware of such terms. I will add annotations over time to make the interpretation task easier in the context of linking a particular abstract to what IDM is on about. Shen ( Chinese: 神; pinyin: shén) is a Chinese word with senses of deity, god or spirit. The Japanese equivalent is shin, as in Shinto. This single Chinese term expresses a range of similar, yet differing, meanings.

Meaning

It seems many verses have rhyme. It gets lost in translation. There are several verses which are identical with verses in the LingQiJing, especially towards the end.

Zhang P (2002) Determining Xia-Shang-Zhou chronology through astronomical records in historical texts. J East Asian Archaeol 4(1–4):347–357 Overall the 10BC perspective is LOCAL, specialised, and can be extremely interesting etc but it is 'short' on learning about the source of the IC in toto in that that source is in fact in the manner in which our brains categorise, our methodology in making distinctions and giving those distinctions complex values and as such is GENERAL in form. It seems the Lunar Eclipse isn't particularly efficacious this year on its own. As often this Graha causes everything ranging from mental anxiety to extremely auspicious condition, I think this is a "Neutral" Lunar Eclipse. Without Fault and Without Honor. When deciding on what kind of beads you should get, one method is to use your astrological animal sign. The table below suggests beads that are auspicious for you based on your sign. RAT & BOAR

SMITH Richard J. - Royal Economic Society Annual Conference 2016 Special Issue on Model Selection and Inference, pp. Ci–Cii Das Orakel der Heiligen Zahlen" by Stefan Kappstein. Publisher Ryvellus Medienverlag, ISBN 3-89453-065-0. It is a beautiful small book, with coins inside, 17 x 12 x 3.5 cm. This dictionary entry for shen lists early usage examples, and many of these 11 meanings were well attested prior to the Han Dynasty. Chinese classic texts use shen in meanings 1 "deity", 2 "spirit, mind; attention", 3 "expression; state of mind", 5 "supernatural", and meaning 6 "esteem". The earliest examples of meaning 4 "portrait" are in Song Dynasty texts. Meanings 7-9 first occur in early Chinese dictionaries; the Erya defines shen in meanings 7 "govern" and 8 "cautious" (and 6, which is attested elsewhere), and the Guangya defines meaning 9 "display". Meaning 10 gives three usages in Chinese dialects (technically "topolects", see Fangyan). Meaning 11 "a surname" is exemplified in Shennong ("Divine Farmer"), the culture hero and inventor of agriculture in Chinese mythology.

In ancient times, shen usually refers to heavenly beings while kuei refers to spirits of deceased human beings. In later-day sacrifices, kuei-shen together refers to ancestors. In popular religions, shen means gods (who are good) and demons (who are not always good). In Neo-Confucianism, kuai-shen may refer to all these three categories but more often than not, the term refers to the activity of the material force ( ch'i). Chang Tsai's dictum, "The negative spirit ( kuei) and positive spirit ( shen) are the spontaneous activity of the two material forces (yin and yang)," has become the generally accepted definition. [4] where you substitute the final 000 for the number you want. Im gonna try and save them all locally, but at least I can access the text online. It would be great to have the text in digital form, though, I have trouble recognizing some chars, but who's complaining?

The I Ching is more a book of gerunds, of 'ings' where a gerund reflects the sharing of noun/verb concepts in the one space, a superposition of two 'waves' as one, and context 'collapses' this wave into a noun OR verb expression. Thus the core elements of the hexagrams, elements that are not 'Chinese' but rooted in our species-nature, always reflect object OR relationship perspectives. These perspectives are GENERAL biases such that the root of a particular hexagram is 'yang' biased or 'yin' biased but can go through nominalisation LOCALLY (as in a noun becomes a verb, a verb becomes a noun etc) Tai Yi Shen Shu 太乙神數 is one of the three 三式 predictive arts from China, the others being Da Liu Ren and Qi Men Dun Jia. These arts are involved in divination and astrology. The San Shi or Three Styles 三式 are considered China's highest metaphysical arts.
