The YTX7A-BS battery is an absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery that utilizes the AGM technology which makes this battery virtually maintenance free. The YTX7A-BS has a capacity of 6ah and also has 90 cold cranking amps, which allows for a multitude of uses. This battery is suitable for motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, and even lawn mowers. The YTX7A-BS has advanced lead alloy technology that increases the starting power while also keeping the amount of self-discharge to a minimum. JMT lithium-ion motorbike batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and use the lithium-polymer process in their manufacture. This means that they will not catch fire or explode in normal operation, which can happen with the cheap, low-quality lithium batteries which are less stable.
