About this deal

It’s an upgrade that actually lives up to the hype, and we’re excited to see what Theragun has in store for future iterations. Using a massage gun couldn't be simpler, just point and shoot (so to speak). All you need to do is switch it on and move it slowly over your sore muscles. Breaking glucose down to produce energy in normal, oxygen-rich circumstances creates a substance called pyruvate. With oxygen, pyruvate is highly effective in breaking down even further for more energy. Without oxygen, pyruvate is temporarily converted into a substance called lactate.

Importantly, we like Theragun Pro’s design as the user can grip the massage gun from multiple angles, making it much more flexible than other massage guns. We also consider whether or not a massage gun has a connected app you can use for more a comprehensive experience, and how loud the motor is when in use. Noise, by the way, is often the biggest issue with massage guns and no brand has yet managed to present a motor that’s sufficiently quiet. However, despite its many advantages, we feel that Theragun Mini 2.0 still falls just short of the Bantam in terms of overall value: Our second best recommendation is the new Theragun Mini 2.0, which will give you a more percussive experience. It now connects to the Therabody app, making it the only mini with the Bluetooth on our list.New to percussive therapy and not sure where to begin? No problem. You can link the Mini with the extensive Therabody app for a variety of tutorials and guided routines to get the most out of your massager.

The sleek, sturdy device has four interchangeable heads (a bullet, a fork, a flat head and a soft head) and five oomph-inducing speed settings for more targeted recovery. The brand boldly claims it reaches 60% deeper into muscles than standard massage guns to banish deep-set aches and pains. Sure enough, it worked wonders on our tester’s sore, knotted muscles. They even felt a difference after just one use. Battery life - a couple of massage guns on our list have batteries which will keep going for eight hours; other massage guns will need charging more frequently It may be the size of a small water bottle, but it’s brimming with impressive features. You get five interchangeable heads (most mini massagers come with just one or two) and there are five speed settings to flit between, giving you a whopping 25 massage combos to try. If you need some guidance, there’s a handy user manual, which provides step-by-step routines for warm-up, mobility and recovery. According to our tester, these were genuinely useful. December 1, 2022Added Theragun Mini 2 as our second best recommendation, following the review we’ve done. (Author: Greg) Smallest devices, which we like to call as mini massage guns. These are Ekrin Bantam, Lifepro DynaMini, as well as the Bob and Brad Q2.

And with a lifetime warranty and a 20% discount (which you can get if you use the MGA20 coupon), the Bantam is the clear winner when it comes to quality and value for the money.
