About this deal

My three year old daughter and I loved reading this together. It's witty and the pictures are fun and I loved the way it relates to everyday family life! At least in our house. (Not counting the snoring mummy of course!) Pretend to be an aeroplane. Move around and make a sound like an aeroplane, just like baby bear. Do this with different vehicles, such as a car, a train and a boat. My little Boy Billy loves this book, he knows all the words and over time he can now say most of the words n do the sounds, its definitely one of his favourite stories. And likes to look at before bed 😊 This is one of my favourite books - I know all the words off by heart as it's a regular bedtime story in our house! It is a good 'joining in' book with all the different noises in the house. Poor old Mr Bear!

My little girl loves this story. She makes all the sounds as we read it. Her favourite sound is the snuffle snuffle of the hedgehog! We have been sharing this story since she was a tiny baby! We love it! Mr. Bear has a long night ahead of him, but morning brings . . Jill Murphy wrote and published 'Peace At Last' in 1980 - it was her first book. You might know Jill Murphy as the author of the super popular "The Worst Witch" series. Used to get this out of the library when I was a young girl with my Dad, Love passing on the story to my little girl especially with the sound effects of the snoring that make her giggle. Love this book. Find out why we need sleep. How does it help our bodies? What happens if we don’t get as much sleep as we need? The moon is shown in a number of illustrations. Use a book about space to find out about the moon and how it affects us here on Earth. Look at the shape of Mr Bear’s feet in the pictures. Can you find out about the footprints of different creatures? How are they similar / different?
