About this deal

Spray cleaners work slightly differently to pour-in additives, in that they are not added into the fuel tank but directly into the turbo via the inlet pipework. These solutions are sprayed through the inlet hose, after the filter and sensors, allowing it direct access to the turbocharger. Whether your car is turbocharged from the factory or you’ve installed an aftermarket turbo kit, keeping it clean is the best way to ensure its longevity. The single biggest enemy of turbos is carbon deposits. Wynns is a premier brand, as well, so you know you are getting a quality product when going with them.

Pour-in additives are generally the easiest while sprays are more involved, so let’s go over the best for common situations. Simple to apply and massive in potential gains, turbo cleaners are a product that is becoming ever more relevant in today’s modern era of turbocharged engines. Nearly all performance cars of the last 5 years have come fitted with a turbo, while you will struggle to find a diesel vehicle without one made in the last decade. Trying one of these inexpensive turbo cleaning products could not only save you thousands in garage repair bills, but should give any turbo-powered vehicle an entirely new lease on life. It’s also a great idea to give your blow-off valve a clean from time to time too. If you are hearing more turbo flutter than usual, this may be the cause. Easy to use - no direct access to the turbo needed, simply spray into the inlet after the air filter.Cleaning your turbo is optional, but should not be neglected as deposits will build up. It doesn’t matter how you drive your car, but if you wait until you have turbo problems, you run the risk of incurring damage to your vehicle. Pour-in turbo cleaners work by adding the contents into the fuel tank, to mix with the diesel inside. This mixture will pass through the fuel system and engine before finding its way to the turbo. Improvement in performance and fuel economy should be noticeable almost immediately, as well as preventing issues with further build up if applied at regular intervals, as recommended by the manufacturers. Firstly no smoke, starting in the mornings and accelerating away on the motorway are smoke free. The acceleration from 50-70 MPH is stronger even carrying a heavy passenger load, you can certainly notice the difference! JLM’s product is suitable for all turbo-powered diesel engines, applied simply by adding into the fuel tank. One bottle is suitable for mixing with up to 70 litres of diesel fuel, to ensure maximum effect. No further dismantling or assistance is required, simply drive.

This can be an issue for intake valves due to recirculated air entering the chamber, this unburnt and contaminated fuel mixture tends to gather on the valve stems and seats. Since VW introduced the ALH motor in 98 with the New Beetle and 99.5 With the Jetta/Golf the VNT or Variable Nozzle Turbo (also called Variable Vane Turbo) we have had issues with carbon buildup in our engines and turbos. The normal route to take care of the problem, such as on a mk4, is to take the turbo off of the vehicle, take it apart, and then clean the carbon buildup out of the vanes by hand. I have done this process numerous times and it is a pain. Removing the bolts that keep the turbo together can be nearly impossible. Revive is a safe water based, non toxic, non corrosive and non flammable fluid, using technology developed and used for the cleaning and maintenance of aviation jet engines, power station turbines, large marine diesel engines and now automotive engines. Leave your turbo neglected for long enough, and the soot built-up can sap a significant amount of power, or worse, seize the turbo altogether. The latest one i did was a 1.9tdi Galaxy it kept dropping into limp codes stored were for over boost this was proven on the road it was also down on acceleration although the customer had not complained of this. This product is a cleaner for gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines but can be used for other types of fuel injection systems, as well. However, if you have a GDI engine, CRC recommends using their spray every 10,000 miles to ensure optimal engine performance. These additives are super easy to implement, requiring no special tools or knowledge and very little time. It is important though to ensure a full or nearly full tank of fuel in the vehicle before use. The car then needs to be taken for a good drive, ensuring the product has made its way through the turbo before full benefits can be realised. Removes carbon from inside diesel or petrol engines, including both turbo and non turbo. The removed carbon allows for restored power, economy and reduces emissions.

The Revive worked great!!!! My Duramax boosts better and doesn't smoke as bad and also fuel economy increased dramatically. Thanks

I thought I'd drop you a line to let you know how my Audi A3 2.0tdi is doing since having some issues with the turbo over boosting etc. After treating the engine & turbo with the Revive product the over boosting issues have stopped altogether and the engine now seems both quieter and smoother.
