The Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum is at the very top end of Logitech’s wireless gaming mouse lineup.

Logitech goes deeper still. There’s a tuning feature that lets you input the surface on which you’re using the mouse. The software will then adjust the settings on the mouse based on the reflectiveness of the surface on which you’re playing, for instance. Most players won’t find this overly useful, but if you’re trying to min-max performance, every little helps. The Thumb wheel is located on the side of the mouse. You can use the wheel for horizontal scrolling and adjust the scroll speed. Or, you can assign a different task to the wheel, such as controlling the screen brightness or turning the volume up and down. By default, the Mode shift button lets you switch between SmartShift modes. When SmartShift is enabled, you can use the scroll wheel in either ratchet mode or hyper-fast spin mode.
