About this deal

And while it’s been criticised for stuffiness in the past, many of its high-end eateries have revamped their offerings to meet modern needs. The Latin American restaurant headed up by Pablo Peñalosa Nájera (ex-Four Seasons Bogotá) strongly encourages its ethos of ‘eat, drink, play’ in something that results as a vibrant mix of reggaeton and Mayfair glitz. They serve up Armenian classics in an up-market setting – think house music playing in the background and beautifully presented dishes, plenty of rich young people – and do a good job of the cooking. Steaks feature prominently on a menu of ‘elevated’ British classics and there’s also a seperate all-day ‘tavern’ selection. Though tiny, the classy cafe excels in superb service, artsy environment and excellent quality food and coffee.

The property was purchased by Sir Robert McAlpine and Sons and Gordon Hotels Ltd in 1928 to be converted into a hotel, which opened on 18 April 1931. In the West Midlands, our teams of highly skilled craftspeople and master artists employ techniques that have been handed down for generations.

Glitzy Latin American restaurant Amazónico comes from acclaimed husband and wife duo Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, who launched the venue in partnership with D. Mayfair has featured in a number of novels, including Evelyn Waugh's A Handful of Dust (1934) and P.It’s the third culinary opening for the restaurant group, with two other branches already launched in Tuscany and Dubai.

Though recently relaunched, this lavish Mayfair restaurant feels utterly timeless, and it certainly upholds the staggering legacy of legendary French chef Joël Robuchon. The concept was inspired by Mount Fuji, and its dual nature – both its calm slopes and its fiery centre, with two distinct areas: MIDORI and MAGMA.

The district has become increasingly commercial, with many offices in converted houses and new buildings, though the trend has been reversed in places. Dine al fresco in the courtyard, or pull up a seat in the stylish dining room, which is all dark wood and exposed wooden beams, with sleek banquettes and copper suspended fireplaces. One of the most quintessentially British things to do in Mayfair is to stop for a spot of afternoon tea at the world-famous hotel, Claridge’s.

Whether you are looking to purchase some new treats, or simply stroll through and soak up the atmosphere, The Royal Arcade is an unmissable spot in Mayfair. A water supply to the area was built by the Chelsea Water Works, and a royal warrant was issued in 1725 for a reservoir in Hyde Park that could supply water at what is now Grosvenor Gate. He regularly socialised in the artistic quarter along Half Moon Street, which is mentioned in both The Importance of Being Earnest and The Picture of Dorian Gray. Halcyon Days is one of only fourteen companies in the world to hold all three Royal Warrants currently in use and is the only supplier of Objets d’Art to the British Royal Household. So, if you don’t mind splurging on a Nutella marshmallow melt on brioche, or plant-based lattes, then this is your coffee spot in Mayfair for the day. Bright and cosy, this place is packed with wonderful displays of Middle Eastern desserts begging you to have a bite. The famous Bruton Street in Mayfair, known for its famous residents such as the Duchess of York and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, is also home to the oldest pub in Mayfair.
