About this deal

When I accepted the HyperX Cloud Core Wireless for review, It was under the guise that this headset is PC only. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Read more about the condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). Although I wouldn’t describe it as “Legendary Comfort” as HyperX does on the box, it is fairly enjoyable for several hours of listening or gaming.

Unsurprisingly, it’s dwarfed by rival headsets like the Razer Barracuda Pro or the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro, but everything you need is still at your fingertips – earcups, headband and padding. The HyperX Cloud Core Wireless hits all the right notes for sound quality, comfort and affordability. Over on PC playing Forza Horizon 5, Cloud Core Wireless does a great job broadcasting the deep roar of various engines and the energetic, upbeat soundtrack to boot. This is an excellent option for anyone wanting an easy to use gaming headset with a standard headphone jack instead of a USB connection.Designed for immersive in-game audio experiences, Cloud Core Wireless is equipped with DTS ® Headphone:X ® spatial audio and 53mm drivers to deliver clear and accurate positional sound for gaming.

Not to mention the Cloud Core Wireless features HyperX’s signature comfort with memory foam and durable build quality. It’s also a decent choice for anyone wanting a headset with a detachable microphone and a design that isn’t overly flashy.

The significant portion of their leakage is between 300Hz and 7kHz, which is a relatively broad range.
