About this deal

The blue hour (from French l'heure bleue; [1] [a] pronounced [lœʁ blø]) is the period of twilight (in the morning or evening, around the nautical stage) when the Sun is at a significant depth below the horizon. During this time, the remaining sunlight takes on a mostly blue shade. This shade differs from the colour of the sky on a clear day, which is caused by Rayleigh scattering. In the silence and melancholy of L'Heure Bleue, many feel sadness and read the foreboding of all the troubles to come... But in 1912, no one expected the collapse of the world. The tragedy of the Titanic, which sank on the night of April 14-15, 1912, was also unexpected. It is worth getting acquainted with this L'Heure Bleue version if you have not been familiar with it before - or if the meeting was unsuccessful.

Created in 1912, L'Heure Bleue Guerlain was inspired by the Impressionists' work, whose paintings Jacques Guerlain fondly collected. que l'on appelle aussi «entre chien et loup» ou encore «la brunante» au Québec. There are fragrances that have a particularly short path from the bottle to the heart and have the strongest influence on the most subtle emotions, they touch your soul just like music and poetry do. There are not many of them, but I believe everyone can name a fragrance that not only pleases but excites them to the highest degree. Such a fragrance can delight, inspire, comfort, or relax – in any case, its effect goes beyond merely smelling good. The name is absolutely appropriate, it captures the essence of the Twilight Hour, much like L'Heure Blanche captures the hazy dreamlike state between the sleeping and waking hour. (I realize I'm one of the few who embrace the latter perfume as brilliant and worthy of pursuit.)

The tuberose is oilier in a vintage version, but despite all my love for this flower, it is not that important in L'Heure Bleue. Besides the restful twilight of summer, I also feel in L'Heure Bleue the transparent twilight of spring – electrified, trembling, full of freshness; when the hassle of the day subsides, and it seems as if you can hear the buds burst and leaves start unfolding as the flowers are getting ready to bloom and smell at dawn. L'heure bleue est particulièrement prisée des photographes spécialistes de la photographie de nuit. I own a version of the EDP from what I think is the 2010s, but I'm not sure, since their codes roll by decade. I wear it for the same reasons and purposes you do, which you described perfectly. I too, and thankful for Les Légendaires to continue on this and other Guerlain traditions (think Apres L'Ondee) that are compelling and timeless. The still commonly presented incorrect explanation claims that Earth's post-sunset and pre-sunrise atmosphere solely receives and disperses the sun's shorter blue wavelengths and scatters the longer, reddish wavelengths to explain why the hue of this hour is so blue. [4] In fact, the blue hour occurs when the Sun is far enough below the horizon so that the sunlight's blue wavelengths dominate due to the Chappuis absorption caused by ozone. [2]

What a beautiful tribute that is worthy of this stunning perfume. I struggle to write words about it, because they don't seem to do it justice or fully encapsulate all that it is. The most I can say is that for me it stands outside of time, like a visitor watching the past, present, and future roll by. This article is inspiring and makes me want to wear it and create my own art in its honor. Association C.R.I.S, « L’Heure bleue - David Clavel, - mise en scène David Clavel, - theatre-contemporain.net», sur www.theatre-contemporain.net (consulté le 2 octobre 2021) L'Heure Bleue was one of the last breaths of La Belle Époque, a period in European history, art, and fashion that lasted between the 1870s and 1914 when the First World War broke out. When the sky is clear, the blue hour can be a colourful spectacle, with the indirect sunlight tinting the sky yellow, orange, red, and blue. This effect is caused by the relative diffusibility of shorter wavelengths (bluer rays) of visible light versus the longer wavelengths (redder rays). [5] During the blue "hour", red light passes through space while blue light is scattered in the atmosphere, and thus reaches Earth's surface.

A mist spreads from its warm, powdery heart, in which Parma violets and dewy blue irises bloom. Magnificent orange blossom is also shrouded in mist and therefore smells a little muffled, not as cheerful and bright as in real life. It is as if its scent is carried through time and is touched by noble patina. The beauty of old gold. Even though I know about the connection between L'Heure Bleue and the Impressionists, and see the perfect reflection of their painting in the fragrance, for me personally, the depth, warmth, and deep blue of it find a visible embodiment in the modernist paintings of Marc Chagall.

L'heure bleue est causée par un mode particulier de diffusion des ondes lumineuses, dit diffusion Rayleigh, qui détermine la couleur du ciel. The sweetness of L'Heure Bleue is delicate, not cloying, but multifaceted: floral, resinous, powdery, bodily...

Period of twilight in the morning or evening Blue hour at the Old Cathedral of the Holy Name of Jesus, Bragança in Portugal L'Heure Bleue is, first of all, summer twilight, filled with the scents of flowers and quiet sighs of nature resting from the heat, bringing long-awaited silence and coolness, stretching slowly and sweetly. Wonderful hours of conversation and love. Hours when it is a waste to sleep, when you want to be alone with yourself now that you feel the beauty of life especially strongly. It seems they are better than the previous attempts to re-release the same Guerlain classics; the new ones are much more similar to originals, to the best vintage samples.

Dans le film Your Name. de Makoto Shinkai, l'heure bleue occupe une place centrale lorsque les deux protagonistes se rencontrent enfin. It seems to me that everyone who dared to write about L'Heure Bleue built a certain personal, associative array - with painting, with music, with literature... Early autumn twilight, sharply fragrant and infinitely cozy, in the rustle of rain and falling leaves, in the bitter smell of autumn flowers and the sweetness of perfumes - it seems to me that almost all perfumes are especially beautiful and fully revealed in fall. Carnation, once very much loved in perfumery and now rejected by many, blooms in L'Heure Bleue both as a fresh and hot flower and a burning, bitter spice. But there is more to L'Heure Bleue than the spiciness of the carnation and clove.Of course, all the new versions are more water-colored and quieter, even compared to the eau de toilette that it was in Guerlain's best times... But L'Heure Bleue Eau de Toilette Guerlain 2021 is stunningly beautiful: a subtle, opal shimmering fragrance, discreet and seductive. Standing out among the best creations of modern perfumery for its versatility, depth, and elegance.
