Overall, I love this product. I have loved bareMinerals Original Mineral Foundation for years now and this concealer is taking the place right next to it. I will recommend this! Pros of bareMinerals Well-Rested Eye Brightener: The original shade is Well Rested, but they had added additional shades for other skin tones. I believe those other shades are more concealing than they are brightening and color correcting, but I am not sure on that. The yellow shade is color correcting and meant to balance out the purple darkness that undereyes typically have. Gently BUFF around the eye area in circular motions. This activates the minerals and transforms them from a powder to a silky cream. Repeat until you’ve achieved the coverage you want. bareMinerals Well Rested is a clever, multitasking concealer. This light neutral beige colour is a silky soft powder for your face, eyes, cheeks which will to calm your skin tone making you look fresh & radiant.

If you’re looking for a completely full coverage concealer, this is not for you. It is 100% not full coverage, and honestly concealer feels like the wrong product name for it. It’s an undereye brightener and color corrector! I use it to brighten up my undereyes and color correct the dark circles. It’s one of those products where when you first apply it you’re like…wait this isn’t doing anything….BUT once you blend it out and actually compare it to your other eye without any product you realize the magic that’s gone on. I was very excited to receive BE well-rested concealer since I have been super content with the BE original foundation and their mascaras. Staying Power: This product has good staying power. I have very oily eye area and it is the first area on my face to get oily when I wear makeup. This product keeps my eye area shine-free for up to 6 hours. It does not crease or settle into fine lines provided it’s not applied too heavily. I love the fact that it has SPF 20, hence also provides sun protection.

For those with light-medium skin tones, this would work great.
