It felt grainy on application. Left it for 20 minutes before getting dressed. Has ruined a summer dress, underwear and linen shirt. Left a yellow stain on everything, including bedding. I realised the following morning and threw it in the bin. An expensive waste of money. Summer riding can be punishing enough without adding sunburn into the mix. Up the ante by adding in high altitude or sunnier climes and it can be a very real and painful risk. Finding a sunscreen that delivers on protection and is also sweatproof, ethical, non-greasy and easy to apply can be challenging. Swiss company Ultrasun has been a specialist in sun protection products since 1992 and produces a dazzling array of different formulas designed for every type of end user. Ultrasun Sports Gel Sun Protection is a non-greasy and easy-to-apply clear gel liquid with UVA and UVB SPF50 protection. This ultra-protective sunscreen formula is designed specifically with sportspeople in mind and is water resistant, long lasting and sweatproof. The liquid gel comes in a 200ml bottle, but there is a 150ml SPF50 spray option too, and other sizes in other SPFs are available too. Application is super easy, and the clear liquid gel is light and non-greasy and rubs in very easily. The waterproof and sweat-resistant properties are clear in how difficult it is to wash off the hands after application. Once it's on, this stuff isn't going anywhere!
Fi Fraser What a great product to find at M&S This is a great product. Both my husband & myself have used it for several years now. We are both fair skinned & burn easily but Ultrasun protects us all day long with one application. We use Ultrasun whenever we are in the sun at home or abroad. It is a bit more expensive than some other brands but totally worth it.
Nevyn Sun lotion We have used this gel for years and it far out any others we have tried. Also finally convinced the rest of the family to use it and now they swear by it. VMasterson Ultrasun sports SPF30 I have been using Ultrasun for a number of years, very effective protection but a little grainy on application.
Puddy122 Best Sun Screen Best sun screen I have ever used. Apply once a day. Does not mark your clothes. Strong alcohol smell when first applying but this dissapates within seconds. Bevy3 Ultra sun lotion I’ve been using this product for years and swear by it. It is so convenient to just put on once a day and am so pleased that I can get this size from M&S. Mrs Christie Ultra Sun This is an excellent Sun cream for those who like an oil based sun protection . Used Ultrasun for years and have never burnt whilst using it

Whatsmyname50 Fantastic Ultrasun product Amazing product but make sure you use it correctly. Ultrasun works very differently from other sun protection. You must put it on at least 30 minutes before going out in the sun to give it time to get into the skin to give the protection. Family Price Sports gel Easily absorbs, I’ve used this for the last 10 years and never burnt fantastic product The formula is vegetarian and vegan friendly, and does not contain any of the controversial ingredients that are harmful to coral reefs, which is good to know, and makes it a great option for sun, sea and cycling holidays. Verdict The Sports range comes in variants from SPF20 to SPF50. The SPF50 Gel is only available as a 200ml bottle, whereas the SPF30 and SPF20 both come in a larger – and therefore better value and more environmentally friendly – 400ml bottle as well, and also a more compact 100ml option. The 200ml bottle is fine for home use, but not ideal for carrying on a ride for re-application, which is a shame. shopperanno Anno Very good melts into the skin protection for the day I have used this product for some time.
