About this deal

Transformers robots have always been More than Meets the Eye, but now, through the Transformers Collaborative, fans can experience these larger-than-life characters as they team up, mash up, and meet up with other characters, teams, and people who share this same special quality. The “robot in disguise” stands 5.5-inches tall in Robot mode. In 17 steps he converts down into a DeLorean time machine, complete with Doc Brown’s goggles, time circuits, and, of course, a flux capacitor. Gigawatt also comes with a blaster and whip antennae accessories. The toy’s car mode also features the DeLorean’s iconic gullwing doors open that fly open. The car’s wheels also rotate from vertical to horizontal “to produce a hovering effect as seen at the end of the film.” The Autobot comes armed with a launcher + whip antenna, detachable Mr. Fusion, and transforms from robot to car mode in 17 steps. Apparently, Gigawatt’s eyes are designed to look like Doc Brown’s goggles too. Gigawatt isn't the first Transformer that turns into an unlicensed DeLorean; that honor belongs to Swindler.

In addition to the figure reveals, we also have a couple pieces of artwork commemorating the reveal! And possibly teasing some hijinks down the road with Doc and Marty? Marty McFly has just returned to his home sweet home, Hill Valley 1985, and everything’s looking up … that is, until Marty and his friend Doc Brown’s time machine attracts the attention of the Decepticons! With one small mistake, Marty finds himself thrust into adventure to stop the Decepticon plot in the past, present, and future … all with the help of a new time machine: the Autobot, Gigawatt!” Gigawatt is the latest collectible from the Transformers Collaborative, which combines those shape-shifting robots with other franchises.MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE: Transformers robots have always been: More Than Meets the Eye, but now, through the Transformers Collaborative, fans can experience these larger than life characters as they team-up, mash-up, and meet up with other characters, teams, and people who share this same special quality. In time machine mode, the gullwing doors open and his wheels rotate to produce a hovering effect as seen on-screen. Also includes blaster and whip antennae accessories. Converts from robot to time machine mode in 17 steps. Now Doc, about that design decision which put a vital and irreplaceable component made of glass right in the middle of my chest..." WHERE WE’RE GOING, WE DON’T NEED ROADS: in time-machine mode the Gigawatt figure features opening gull-wing doors and articulated rotating wheels, simulating a hovering effect as seen at the end of the film Whilst we will do everything we can to meet the delivery times above, there may be factors outside of our control and we cannot guarantee delivery within this time frame.

A repentant ex- Decepticon from a doomed alternate future, the most surprising thing about Gigawatt is the fact that he didn't join the Autobots sooner. Kind-hearted and empathetic, if a little awkward and unsure of himself, Gigawatt was just a low-ranking Decepticon number-cruncher until a crisis of conscience pushed him out of the Decepticons and into the Autobot ranks, where he now does his best to redeem himself. In time machine mode, Gigawatt figure features opening gullwing doors and articulated rotating wheels for simulated hovering effect as seen at the end of the movie Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you. A second variant will be released starting 1 October 2020 via HasbroPulse.com and select retailers around the world. When it comes to fighting Decepticons across multiple time periods or preventing damage to the timestream, there are few other Autobots quite as up to the job as Gigawatt. His DeLorean time machine alternate mode gives him the potent ability to travel to any period in history, and he's augmented with future technology that allows him to hover in place or even fly at great speeds. Aided by his human companions Marty McFly and Doc Brown, Gigawatt might be the only 'bot who can prevent Decepticon domination over Earth's past, present, and future—but is he up to the task?
