Instead of just having another wiring harness for connecting the kit to the stand/power supply, there’s a physical plug that sits in the butt and connects into a linkage on the stand. This makes it a thousand times easier to connect/disconnect the kit as testing throughout ensures you don’t build it only to find something completely messed up. Compared with RG Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode) in size. RG has the same neat proportions as MGEX. The shoulder armor has some characteristics. The overall height has increased slightly from the unicorn mode, but even after the armor is deployed, there is no specific gravity on one side and the independence is stable.The build experience of this kit is pretty streamlined thanks to Bandai's meticulous planning of parts. The instruction manual specifically tells you what runners you will be using in each specific segment so you won't need to a large workspace to layout all of the runners present in the kit. With the amount of plastic and thought put into this thing prepare yourself for hours of fun piecing this together. Its basic design hasn’t changed, but more details have been added throughout the model and it also has a sharper form. The detail, engineering and articulation present in this kit is just mind blowing. Frankly I wish it was like the RG and each push of the button jumped right into turning the LEDs on. Turning on the head, then waiting for a few seconds for the pyscho-frame to light up is an annoyance, albeit a very minor one. The left and right armor of the sole part was designed to move independently on the left and right in the old kit, but in MGEX it is individually connected with a ball joint so that it can move freely independently.Being a kit that reproduces light emission using LEDs, the psycho frame is a clear white molding color that is conscious of light emission. This makes the whole body white-based. It feels a little unsatisfactory, but it has a deactive feeling and you can enjoy the vividness when the LED emits light.
