About this deal

Stanmore II is equipped with the this latest Bluetooth format whereas the Acton II isn't. RCA Input Setting it up couldn't be simpler, you just need to plug it in and connect your phone to it through your Bluetooth settings. You can also connect to the speaker using a 3.5mm audio cable although you will need to buy your own because there isn't one included in the box. It is equipped with advanced components such as two 15 watt class D Amplifiers that powers its tweeters and a 50 watt class D amplifier that drives its mighty subwoofer. This speaker lets you enjoy clean and precise audio even at high audio levels. Here is a link for the Acton II Bluetooth manual, https://support.marshallheadphones.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000459618-User-Manual-Acton-II-Bluetooth This is why most A-class brands (like SVS, Bang & Olufsen, etc) often come up with room correction features, adjusted either manually or automatically. The EQ adapts itself to the placement (room, corner, center, etc) for a better (deeper and more accurate) sound. Which is great.

It delivers high quality, well balanced, natural and powerful sound and is equipped with three dedicated class D Amplifiers that power dual tweeters and a subwoofer This is a problem because it means that Spinorama alone, unfortunately, won't give us all we need. Placement and reflections play an equally important role there too. Being louder, The Kilburn II will provide a more saturated experienced however the Acton II is capable of this as well.Although the free Marshall Multi-Room app can be used to set-up and operate the Marshall Acton and its peers, in practice it appears to have hived-off everything to the Google Home app. That's a new development – it wasn't that way on the Marshall Stanmore we reviewed recently. Marshall has its own Bluetooth app for both Android and iOS devices which you can use to personalize or customise your music experience. Battery: The Marshall Stanmore 2 can also be used with two options for connectivity. It also has a Bluetooth version 5.0 and aptX technology that gives a wireless sound range of upto 30 feets(10 metres). The connectivity is the same for both the speakers.

The mains power uses a standard-length cable, so don’t expect to stretch this too far above table height. This isn’t a battery powered speaker – but at 2.85kg you probably wouldn’t want to lug this around as a portable speaker anyway. Also, if you opt for the white leather-style outer layer, it’s unlikely to last long outside the protection of the home. It leaves out everything else completely. Especially what we care the most about when it comes to power: Being able to play at high volumes without any loss of sound quality. The colormap provides you the locations with the best (green) and worst (red) listening experience.

Usability

It's also possible to take the Chromecast route: Chromecast functionality is baked into the Marshall Acton, and is the default way of connecting it to a home network. Users of the Spotify Connect app can also route music straight to the Acton too. The Marshall Stanmore 2 is simply amazing for low-end and if you play a bass guitar in very low notes i.e under 80 Hz then you will be amazed at how well the speaker is able to handle those notes. The woofer works hard when it comes to mids and highs. This speaker lets you enjoy clean and precise audio even at high audio levels. It has a bass reflex system which comes with a port that helps in increasing the efficiency even at low frequencies so that you enjoy the stellar sound at all times. It is equipped with advanced components such as two 15 watt class D Amplifiers that powers its tweeters and a 50 watt class D amplifier that drives its mighty subwoofer. One thing it can do is adjust the sound depending on the placement of the speaker in your home. You open the app and choose Placement Compensation, which then lays out questions about whether the speaker is close to an edge or not and whether it’s close to a wall or placed in a corner. The speaker will do the rest, giving you the best audio experience possible for where you plan to keep it.
