About this deal
The notes in this perfume beautifully transition from citrus green to warm sweet woody accord, just exactly how a perfume should be designed. With its handwritten logo style, Burberry weekend reflects the spontaneous attitude of the fragrance. I was honestly surprised to find there is no lavender in this as the opening is really reminiscent of pure Lavender. It does not smell like Neroli portofino, 4711 or other neroli heavy stuff, but it IS smelling like CK one.
Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application.
it's a Burberry through and through-in shorts and henley, as opposed to suit and plaid-lined trench.
Yes, it's a versatile scent that can be worn for various events, from casual outings to special occasions. Slightly reminiscent of CK One to me and would suit similar occasions, but I prefer this - the citrus accord here feels more realistic and less synthetic to me and adds a gentlemanly vibe. Maybe this is just the result of the salad which comes also with pineapple, honey and other ingredients indistinct to my nose.I bought all three in larger sprays, and was lucky enough to find a one ounce EDT at Marshalls for 15. I got a bottle of this one today, and after spraying it on I was taken back to my school days in the 60's.
