About this deal

For use as a barrier and moisturiser for the symptomatic relief of dermatitis, ichthyosis, eczema, nappy rash, protection of dry skin areas, pruritus and related skin conditions where dry scaly skin is a problem. It can be used as a pre-bathing emollient or as an alternative to soap to alleviate drying effects. Adverse reactions: Adults, the elderly and children: Apply the gel to the affected area on a regular basis and as often as required. Children under 1: Seek HCP advice before use. Adults: Add 20ml to a standard bath of warm water (8 inches deep). Infants and Children: Add 5ml to a small bath (25 litres) or washbasin of warm water. Immerse and cover the affected areas and soak for 10-20 minutes. Alternatively, gently sponge over the affected areas repeatedly. Pat dry with a towel. Date of preparation:

Zerobase Emollient Cream softens, moisturises and protects the skin, providing symptomatic relief for red, inflamed or dry skin. If you have eczema, the cream can also be applied before a bath to stop the skin drying further. It can be used as an alternative to soap. Adverse reactions: Apply the cream to the skin. Children under 1: Seek HCP advice before use. Adults, the elderly and children: A thin application of the cream should be gently massaged into the skin three times daily or at appropriate intervals. When used as a protective barrier cream, Zeroguent should be applied sparingly to the affected areas of the skin before or immediately after exposure to a potentially harmful factor. Date of preparation: Soya Bean Oil 83% w/w, Comperlan (Oleic Acid Diethanolamide), Macrogol Lauryl Ether (Laureth-4), Perfume, Propylene Glycol, Butylated Hydroxytoluene. Indications: Apply Doublebase Gel to the affected areas of the skin on a regular basis and as often as required.

Usage and Instructions

Children under 1: Seek HCP advice before use. Adults, the elderly and children: As an emollient: Apply to the affected area as often as required. Smooth gently into the skin, following the direction of the hair growth. As a bath additive: Melt about 4g (roughly a teaspoonful) of Zeroderm Ointment in hot water in a suitable container. Then add to the bath ensuring that the water has sufficiently cooled before getting in. As a soap substitute: Take a small amount of Zeroderm Ointment from the tub, lather it under warm water and use as required when washing or in the shower. Pat skin dry. Date of preparation: Children under 1: Seek HCP advice before use. Adults: Add 15-20ml to a standard bath of warm water (8 inches deep). Immerse and cover the affected areas with the bath water and soak for 10-20 minutes. Pat dry with a towel. Infants and children: Add 5-10ml to a small bath or wash basin of water. Immerse and cover the affected areas with the bath water and soak for 10-20 minutes. Alternatively, repeatedly sponge over the affected areas. Pat dry with a towel. Use as often as required.
