Dior Hypnotic Poison is a fragrance with oriental notes. It immediately hits even the most demanding noses thanks to the studied interweaving of fragrances of its top notes. The fruity freshness of apricot is combined with the enveloping and creamy touch, with an unmistakable and exotic flavor, of coconut. A touch of exotic extravagance is also brought by the extract of the leaves of allspice, a typical tree of Central America. A Combination of Jasmine and Lily of the Valley Almond gives the fragrance its oriental-known feature, perhaps an element which has determined its success. Another extravagant note is brought by the use of sandalwood, an ingredient usually considered more suitable for men's products. Its warm and intense aroma represents the final touch of Dior Hypnotic Poison. Price and Other Perfumes Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number). Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health.

Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.
