For those who haven’t come across them before the Harry Potter Magical Capsules are surprise bag style Harry Potter themed collectibles. They come in a bronze Hogwarts crest that contains one of 10 iconic characters from the Harry Potter series along with a selection of accessories. The wands slot into the characters hands which is great. So we really couldn’t wait to get our hands on these new Harry Potter Magical Capsules from KAPTOYS. With 10 to collect we were ALL super excited to see who we was going to reveal inside our capsule. There are 10 “Harry Potter” Magical Capsules to collect in series two, each with a new mystery three-inch figure, including Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall and many more. Each Magical Capsule includes 1 Hogwarts Character, one glow-in-the-dark clue card, one spell book, one large accessory, one wand and two surprise accessories. Wizarding World fans will also be able to discover a rare and ultra-rare figure in Series 2.

The clues are revealed by adding heat (rubbing your finger across the clue works) or dipping them in water – once you know the Hogwarts house and magic spell incantation you can have a go at guessing which character you have before you open it up. Can you guess who these clues point to? Each capsule we opened had five little parcels to open. I was really impressed with the little details on the paper wrappings, they felt like you were opening some magical owl post. The largest parcel, containing the character, is in a different wrapper to the rest, so you know to leave it until last – it is more exciting that way, obviously. In compartment number 2, we were given a strip of card with a water mark on it. Grace dipped this in water which revealed our next clue. Yet again the Harry Potter Capsules have been a big hit. Review: These Harry Potter surprise capsules are really fun – the remind me of LOL dolls, but for Harry Potter fans! Inside each Hogwarts Crest shaped capsule you get a character and 3 accessories, as well as two clues to the identity of your mystery person. In the firstchamber, we found a crest with a scratch reveal showing which Hogwarts house your character belongs to. My daughter scratched these very slowly to build up the anticipation and was delighted when she saw a peek of colour.The third capsule’s scratch crest again revealed the red Gryffindor lion. On seeing this my daughter hoped that Hermonie would be hiding in door three. However, after wetting the spell card which again revealed‘MISCHIEVE MANAGED’ she knew she had Harry again. She didn’t mind too much though declaring that meant she had two ‘cute’ Dobbys too, although my son has now claimed him as his own. YuMe’s Harry Potter Magical Capsules will launch as part of Walmart’s Collector Con, the retailer[']s initiative to allow fans to continue to build their collections with products normally only available at fan conventions across the country.
