About this deal

The fully featured stroller includes multiple recline positions, adjustable calf supports, UV 50+ canopies and 2 comfortable padded seats. It’s comfortable, reclines, has a large canopy and my diaper bag clips on so easy on the back handle. The all-new lightweight design fits through most standard doorways and features an ultra-compact fold, making getting around town with two easier than ever. The Baby Jogger Company is the original designer and manufacturer of high performance joggers and the all-terrain three-wheel stroller.

As I scrambled through the piles of baby clothes and gadgets that I'd scooped up ready for them, it occurred to me that our 'list' was probably quite frightening. Replicating previous Baby Jogger models, you simply push a red button, lift the handle in the middle of the seat and the Baby Jogger folds. Crucially, it also meant I could see when he started to loll forward to go to sleep, avoiding having to keep walking round to check. Even on the bus I didn’t need to worry about it sliding about when the driver braked firmly or turned a sharp corner. She looked decidedly oversized for the frame, but found the ride comfortable, and pushing her remained extremely easy. If a travel system is a must, you'll have to look elsewhere; the City Tour can't be used with a baby car seat, and the buggy's seat unit can only be used from 6 months. During the testing period we pushed this buggy across grass, hills and rough pavements, we also used it on public transport.

The other change is that the carry bag provided is not a backpack this time, but a light bag that you would carry over your shoulder or in your hand. Storing it flat is great, but I would have liked to be able to stand it upright at home, especially as that is how it is shown in some of the marketing photos. The first part is easy and has a simple to use lever in the push bar, which you can move with your thumb while pushing forward to make the pushchair fold. Not only was it amazing for the newborn long haul flights, but for our exhausted toddler as It can recline almost flat with leg support and fits easily in the overhead compartments. I found unfolding it even trickier, as you have to remember to open up the front wheels before you start pulling it into place.I’ve used it for air travel, at boat shows and even got on and off boats and ferries while holding this stroller and carrying my 2 year old, it’s done Disney etc. The infant car seat connection with the City Tour™ 2 lets you and your baby travel together from infancy. The City Tour 2 is front-facing only, so my 7-month-old had the chance to look out on the world earlier than my older son did with our travel system.

We have the green colour as it was cheaper than the other colours so that might be something to consider. The zip and material also make it tricky to fold very small, so I might just opt for a flimsier cover when on the go or rely on the hood to hold off the weather. While I was able to lower it with my baby sitting inside, it was far more difficult to raise it again once he’d woken up and was keen to see the world again. Add-on accessories allow for easy customization of the City Tour™ 2 Double stroller so you’re equipped to carry on with your day, wherever it may lead you. You can set the front wheels to straight if required, but I found the swivel feature so convenient for manoeuvring round obstacles and narrow pavements I kept it on this setting for each journey.Instructions are provided in picture form, to help you work out all the different positions as well as how to open and close it. My baby son slept through both journeys in the lie-flat position too, so clearly found it very comfortable.
