About this deal

Professor Poopypants, a scientist from a country where everyone has a silly name, New Swissland, has just invented a shrinking machine, the Shrinky-Pig 2000 and an enlarging machine, the Goosy-Grow 4000. He goes to America so he can show these inventions to everyone and help the world by using his machines to shrink the world's garbage and increase the world's food supply. George and Harold know they have to enlist the help of Captain Underpants. They snap their fingers, and Mr. Krupp takes on his hero persona. He’s still tiny, so the boys have to get the professor’s growth ray. They make Captain Underpants as large as the Gerbil Jogger 2000. Then the hero and the professor do battle. Captain Underpants wins, and Professor Poopypants goes to jail. He writes to the boys from prison, saying he’s sorry and that he’s changing his name so no one will ever make fun of him again. The new name he’s chosen is Tippy Tinkletrousers. Professor Poopypants is then arrested and hauled off to jail for his crimes. From the advice of George and Harold, he legally changes his own name so that no one will make fun of it anymore. Unfortunately, he changes it = to that of his maternal grandfather's, Tippy Tinkletrousers, which only makes the prisoners (and police officers) laugh at him even more, much to his anger. Later in the treehouse, George and Harold reflect on the moral to not make fun of people, believing this to be their first story to have a moral. Miss Gigglesniffer, Mrs. Bubblesniffer, and Miss/Mrs./Ms______ ( Miss Creant, Mrs. DePoint, and Miss/Mrs./Ms.______; The lunch ladies) Professor Poopypants teams up with Melvin (who is secretly his assistant) to take over the world after scanning his brain in his evil lair.

Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor

Pippy is a hero/villain in the book series, but a villain in the movie. He performs a Heel Face Turn at the end of the fourth book. But at the start of the ninth book, he betrays George and Harold by arresting them for their crimes.Professer Poopypants' new name Tippy Tinkletrousers is, according to the letter he wrote at the end, his grandfather's name on his mother's side. Meanwhile, far away in New Swissland, the illustrious scientist Professor Pippy Pee-Pee Poopypants has created various devices to shrink and enlarge objects. He decides to bring his inventions to America. None of the major universities pay any attention to his inventions because they can’t stop laughing at his name. Finally, since he’s running out of money, Professor Poopypants answers Principal Krupps’ ad for an elementary science teacher. On the one hand I am not too happy with the mistakes in the comics (it does get a bit old), but on the other hand it does fit the age of the duo.

Professor Poopypants is then hauled off to jail. On the advice of George and Harold, he changes his name so no one will make fun of it anymore (which he hadn't thought of until George noted that to him). Sadly, he chooses his maternal grandfather's name, Tippy Tinkletrousers, which the people at jail make fun of.He's also the most recurring villain in the Captain Underpants series as he appeared in at least five books. Captain Underpants is also a brilliant character, it is just a shame that for most of the time he isn't around. In reference to their names, the Shrinky-Pig 2000 looks like a pig, and the Goosy-Grow 4000 resembles a goose.

CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS AND THE PERILOUS PLOT OF PROFESSOR

Near the end, Dr. Diaper makes a cameo appearance in the jail where the professor is sent to at the very end. He, along with many others in the jail, are seen laughing at Professor Poopypants's unbearably funny new name. A student named Robbie Staenburg is mentioned as a student whose name was changed; Robbie Staenburg is the son of Dav Pilkey's agent. Professor Poopypants spots Melvin Sneedly as a villain in the comic, "Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants." Infuriated by Captain Underpants' insistence that the comic should be taught to classrooms as a history book, Professor Poopypants leaves. However, the car driven by Out of the Road Driver hits him thrice on the way. Once he's done, he laughs at Poopypants' name upon hearing it. So yeah, instead of cheering for the good guys to win.... I was rooting for the professor to get his revenge. Yep, I was rooting for the baddie. Though, then again, he wasn't necessarily evil, he just snapped. I did like his revenge plan, and how (hilariously) people were unhappy. See, you don't like it to be bullied with your name, then don't do it to others. The fourth book (and third book for me) in this series. This time a professor with an original name and his plans to take over the world (though I totally was cheering him on). There are two songs about him: Go Poopypants! and Hallelujah! (from Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie). He bears similarities to Superman's archenemy, Lex Luthor. Both of them are intelligent scientists that, though without superpowers, are typically a threat to their foes.
