How much are Samsung Televisions? Consider the brand. We’ll go into more detail in a moment about brand and whether Samsung is your best option for Televisions. But the point here is just to make sure you’re factoring in brand when considering the quality of a product. Some brands will be better known for quality than others, and no doubt some of the much higher quality brands will attract a higher price for their products. The Q95T’s motion handling is one of its more impressive abilities. On 2020 Samsung TVs including the Q95T, 24p content is finally processed correctly, even with all of the motion settings in the Picture Clarity menu turned off. Now, slow pans in 24p movies look smooth and blissfully free of telecine judder. The overall quality of any product is important, but it’s especially important when you’re considering Televisions. You’re making an important investment in this product so you want to be sure that it’s going to be durable and serve its purpose for a decent length of time. While the Q80T looks fairly conservative, it actually boasts a rather radical sound system. Rather than just relying on downward firing stereo drivers, Samsung’s designers have added a second pair at the top left and right of the display. The TV is able to interpolate subtle elements of detail into HD and lower resolution content, creating a compelling UHD-style image. The processor works out what is native detail, and then through comparison with a texture database, creates more of the same. Please note: Failure to produce the card and relevant ID means we are unable to release goods on collection. Brand, as mentioned earlier, is another really important factor to consider for buying Televisions.

Prices from Samsung The Q95T’s colour accuracy is better than that of the Q90R, too. After calibration, we measured an average Delta E of 1.28, with only a couple of colours exceeding the humanly perceptible error threshold for moving video content. Most colours, including skin tones, look incredibly accurate and natural. Of the Q95T’s various picture presets, Movie Mode is the most accurate. The static contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce simultaneously, for example, within one and the same frame/scene.

With an improved local dimming algorithm and fantastic video processing, the Samsung Q95T is a worthy successor to the Q90R

To cap it all off, the design of this QE65Q75TATXXUQLED TV is second to none, with its super thin bezel and stunning looks. When something bright moves into the space just above or below the picture area, you’ll see some light pollution – but the effect is relatively fleeting. Regardless of the material it was the detailed nature of the picture was readily apparent, with the AI-enhanced processing cleaning up more compressed content, and teasing every last pixel out of lower resolution material. The panel has plenty of brightness, and the colours are saturated but accurate, giving the images real pop. The QE55Q80T looks much like every other QLED of the last couple of years, all dark silver metal, straight edges and pointy corners. Unlike the higher-end Q95T model, which has a single-piece pedestal, the Q80T’s stand is a slightly less suave two-piece design. That said, it still has a compact footprint and the sort of low profile that makes for easy placement of a soundbar. As ever, it is worth experimenting with the settings yourself to find the balance you prefer, particularly the Local Dimming and Picture Clarity options. By setting the former to High we increase the punch of bright highlights in otherwise dark scenes but lose a little bit of shadow detail, and while Custom is the right amount of motion processing for us, some may still prefer to switch it off entirely.

We use the Standard preset for all content except games (use the Game preset here). For HDR, we simply add a point to Shadow Detail, switch Local Dimming to High, switch Picture Clarity to Custom and turn the Noise Reduction off.

It’s not all perfect, mind you. Left on its default settings, the Q95T’s HDR picture is overbright compared with our reference standard. This can be dialled down by lowering the TV’s contrast value to around 40, after which the panel retains all specular highlight detail, even on HDR content mastered to 4,000cd/m2. And if you switch local dimming settings to ‘high’ (a new feature for 2020 QLEDs) the overbright effects of the Q95T’s dynamic tone mapping can be minimised. Samsung made revisions to its Tizen smart TV platform in 2020 to improve usability. The launcher bar is a little smaller, allowing more apps to sit onscreen without a need to scroll. When viewed on the larger Q80T models, this makes perfect sense. There’s also enhanced connected device discovery, making it easier to jump between inputs.

There’s good tonal balance, too. The surprisingly deep bass is thankfully free of the artificiality that’s common of TVs with small drivers, the midrange is clear and naturally weighted, and the treble is rounded off enough to avoid harshness. That said, we would avoid the Adaptive Volume feature, which introduces a little fuzz to proceedings. Adaptive Sound+ is definitely worth using, though, as everything sounds quite small-scale without it.Let’s take a look at 65″ SAMSUNG QE65Q75TATXXU Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR QLED TV with Bixby, Alexa & Google Assistant in more detail and see what makes it worthwhile of a review score of 8.7 out of 10. YouTube Video of 55″ SAMSUNG QE55Q75TATXXU Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR QLED TV with Bixby, Alexa & Google Assistant Colours are vivid and authentic thanks to 100% colour volume, making sport, documentaries, and movies look better than ever.
