Looks good, nice colour and crisp looking pastry, which doesn’t appear to have any soggy or greasy bits. from Mr Foodie (and myself) light and crisp filo pastry and a soft and moist filling. Not greasy at all, this was an evenly cooked pie. A bit more filling would make this pie as good as a homemade one. We would buy this again.

Following food-filled holidays to Greece, Bosnia, Slovenia, Croatia and Bulgaria, Mr Foodie loves his Balkan foodie treats, so when I saw this in Waitrose I knew it would (probably) make him happy. He had tried Lidl’s borek/burek attempts before but weren’t all that impressed. Preheat oven to 180°C (375°F).Remove lid and leave pie in its baking tray.Place on middle shelf of pre-heated oven.Bake for approximately 30 minutes until the top becomes a golden colour.All ovens may vary and this is only a guide. Adjust baking time and temperature according to your oven.Cook from frozen. Not microwave suitable.
