I’mma Do My Own Thing” Interdimensional Destiny– If you’ve not been introduced to films that have a multiverse, here’s a crash course for you. In the first installment, the movie centered on Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) who is thrust into a universe of endless possibilities inside the multi-verse where met new Spider characters along the way including Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman (Hailee Steinfeld). In this sequel, the film follows Morales just as much as it centers on Stacy as the two young adults try and understand their powers and that the multi-verse exists while keeping it all secret from their loved ones. It's a great parallel story where each character can learn from one another in different ways. Scratches, Score and The Music of the Multiverse– At only five minutes, we get a peek at what it took to score the film along with some of the musical choices in this one. Filmmakers Commentary: The only special feature included on both discs, writer-producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and directors Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson have a very lively discussion on the various aspects of the film including animation design, voice performance, story, etc.

Upon release, both Spider-Verse films received high praise from us. In our review of Into the Spider-Verse, we gave it a 9/10 and called it “a dynamic visual experience unlike any other,” alongside stating that it was “a memorable big-screen debut” for Miles Morales. We gave Across the Spider-Verse a high score as well, landing on an 8/10 in our review and stating that it “surges with visual inventiveness and vibrance in an undeniably strong evolution of the style established in Into the Spider-Verse.” Creating the Ultimate Spider-Man Movie– The obligatory “making of…” feature that tells of the trials and tribulations of how this movie was made, to make it bigger, better, etc. but still retain the magic that the first one had. Obscure Spiders and Easter Eggs (1080p; 5:39): A brief rundown of the many Easter Eggs scattered throughout the film. Across the Worlds: Designing New Dimensions– The title essentially says it all – we get the rundown on how the new universe(s) were created.

Detail is perfect, you’d expect as much being held in the digital realm, with everything being pinpoint accurate representing the artists’ ‘pen’ without missing a beat. Number 42 is the answer to the meaning of life, the universe and everything, at least according to the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And, rather prophetically, it kind of is in the Spider-verse as well. Because it was the radioactive spider from this particular universe that spins the web that intertwines Miles Moralas and the rest of the Spider-men throughout existence. It can’t be a coincidence. You want eye candy? You want eye popping colour? You want one of the best video presentations ever?

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Cast– Essentially just that – we get a look at the actors voicing their roles, their “interactions” and so forth.
