WHO WE ARE

The party (Holmes, Watson, Lestrade) makes its way to the "House of Silk", a club operated by a pastor and his wife who also govern a boy's orphanage, and rent the boys to wealthy customers. The members are promptly rounded up by Scotland Yard. Despite their arrests, however, the case does not come to trial, due to a royal family member having been purportedly involved. It is eventually revealed that Mrs. Carstairs is the true person responsible for The Flat Cap case, being the second leader of the Irish gang. We can’t help but get astounded by the impressive observation and exhilarated deductive skills of the investigator. Not to mention, his talent in arriving at conclusions out of thin air proves the meticulous craft of the original creator. The House of Silk is another Holmes novel published in 2011, but not apparently written by Doyle, but by Anthony Horowitz instead. Holmes reveals that he anticipated this, so he and Watson go to the house to investigate. There, they meet Catherine, Mr. Carstairs's wife. She has an American accent, and she explains that they are newly married, having met on a recent voyage from America to England. They also meet Eliza, Mr. Carstairs's sister; she warns them that Catherine is only after her brother's money.
