About this deal

The vacuum cleaner glided easily on both hard floors and on carpet (provided the least power setting was used); however, we found it cumbersome to use in handheld mode, in part because of the finger rest on the handle that allows you to rest your digit, but in an unnatural position, but also because it was too heavy to clean up high for long, which is disappointing considering one that of the supplied tools is the aforementioned ‘elbow’ section that’s designed for cleaning hard to reach spaces up high. The PowerClean Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is relatively easy to empty. After detaching the wand, you need to press a button on the front of the canister to open the trap at the bottom, allowing the debris to fall into the bin. The Beko VRT94929VI is a portable vacuum cleaner designed for efficient cleaning. With a battery voltage of 28.8 V, this vacuum cleaner provides cordless convenience, allowing users to easily maneuver and reach different areas without the restriction of a power cord. If you had to name a vacuum cleaner brand, Beko probably wouldn’t come high up on your list. Judging by the quality of the Beko PowerClean Cordless Vacuum Cleaner VRT94929VI, that’s a shame – this is an excellent cleaner, doing well at its lowest setting, and with plenty of power at the top. There’s also a light bar on the front of the floor head, so you can see where and what you’re cleaning, even if the lighting isn’t very good.

Well priced and powerful, the Beko Smart PowerClean Pro Cordless Vacuum Cleaner VRT95929VI is great value if you want a powerful and flexible vacuum cleaner. Design and features In the box, Beko also provides a large dusting brush, a motorised pet tool (great for upholstery and stairs), a crevice tool and a flexible adaptor, which lets you angle tools for cleaning on top of cupboards. The motorized brush can be adjusted to medium speed, providing a runtime of 20 minutes, or high speed, offering a runtime of 7 minutes. The vacuum cleaner requires a charging time of 6 hours to regain full battery capacity. There’s a secondary post-motor filter at the front of the machine. This needs to be cleaned less frequently, so there’s just the one in the box. Performance The design is fairly standard for a cordless vacuum cleaner, with the motor, filter and dust canister at the top, attached to the wand, and the floor cleaning head at the bottom. However, rather than the wand being a single straight section, it has a flexible extension tube in the centre. When you slide a yellow catch at the top of the want, the wand can bend by up to 90 degrees, as mentioned, enabling the vacuum to be easily manoeuvered under furniture.

Controls are located on top of the vacuum cleaner, with a power button that turns on the vacuum in Low mode. You can then use the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons to increase or decrease the power, moving between Medium and Turbo modes. There’s no indicator to show which mode you’re in, although it’s easy enough to hear the difference. Use the attachments: Cordless vacuum cleaners normally come with a whole host of attachments that are designed to make your life easier - so use them! Whether you use smaller brush heads to vacuum crumbs off the sofa or you use the smaller nozzles to catch cobwebs in the corner of your living room, they can all come in very handy. Raw figures are a good indicator of what to expect, but real-world tests are important to show how efficiently the power can be applied to vacuuming. With my next set of tests, I was hugely impressed.

45 Minute Run Time

The battery can be removed and replaced, but as there’s no charging for a second battery, keeping two charged would prove to be fiddly.
