Magento integration with Brightpearl

Postby Billio » Wed Sep 16, 2015 4:58 pm

I use Brightpearl as my main business software. This normally integrates well with Magento Community and it was working fine until a recent cyber attack on the hosting company.
I have changed hosting companies and now find that Magento requires "SOAP version 2" in order to make the integration work. My new hosting company cannot setup SOAP V2 on their system
What do I need to specify to a hosting company so I can get SOAP V2 installed? I am not a developer or techie!
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried contacting the hosting company first?

I'm sure they could help, especially if you hint on switching. Don't let hosting stop you from growing your business. Which hosting did you use? Have you tried Amazon AWS? By the way, we offer 1 year free hosting through Amazon AWS, when you run your instance through our service - check it out: http://www.magecloud.net/magento-hosting/. Feel free to use the contact form to find out more about the capabilities of the hosting that we offer - AWS and Google Cloud.

Thanks for your comments.
I now use Dx3Webs.com.
They specialise in Magento and it has all worked flawlessly.

Moving to different platform can help you configuring many applications, I am using Cloudways managed Google hosting for my Magento store, You can easily install with the help of this guide, https://www.cloudways.com/blog/magento-on-google-cloud/
