Cobra Kai has always been cheesy, but that cheese has worked more often than not because the series does nostalgia so well. The growth we see from both her and this character is perhaps what leaves me most excited for Season 5.

Only a minor flaw, but this coupled with the bush baby eyes of Sam (didn’t look good) made me exit out and switch to Cobra Kai.

This product entitles you to download both the digital PS4™ version and the digital PS5™ version of this game. This is largely down to the analogue stick, which often feels clunky making movement feel a bit stiff as you try to keep up. Recruit new dojo members and let their strength bolster your own as you build your dojo into a powerhouse. What’s more impressive is the inclusion of fairly in-depth skill trees to upgrade, which then unlocks the full range of moves, makes them more deadly, and allows characters’ attributes to be improved.These points are essential as they’ll translate over to the game, and in some ways, those annoying elements are often in your face in Cobra Kai The Karate Kid Saga Continues. Cobra Kai does offer couch co-op, with a second player able to jump in on an additional controller, although I didn’t play this way while carrying out this review. If they stuck with martial arts it could have been passable but it has stupid ice moves and flaming eagles like something out of Mortal Kombat! As a beat ‘em up, you’ll traverse the levels in a side-scrolling manner, clearing out any enemies that are present, before advancing forward – a fairly standard trope for these types of games.
