About this deal

In " Obsidian" an adult version of Finn is seen from a few years after the end of the series and he is seen without any prosthesis. Like most of the main characters, Finn is an Exosuit in the game Project Exonaut. His suit is in the "Banzai Squadron" (red) faction. Finn's birthmark looks like a flaming sideways teardrop located in a really weird part of his body, as described by Finn in " Crossover." This is the second appearance of the Ancient Sleeping Magi of Life Giving, the first was in " Mystery Dungeon."

Bad Little Boy," " The Prince Who Wanted Everything," " Princess Day," " Evergreen," " The Diary," " Friends Forever," " Be Sweet," " Orgalorg," " Varmints," " Cherry Cream Soda," " Broke His Crown," " Lady Rainicorn of the Crystal Dimension," " Five Short Tables," " Daddy-Daughter Card Wars," and " Ring of Fire" are the only episodes where Finn did not make an appearance.Finn and Jake bring Little Dude home with them, where he attempts to climb on BMO's head and turns all the food on their table into poo. Afterwards, the Magi comes to the Tree Fort, allowing Little Dude to escape to the Candy Kingdom. Finn, Jake, and the Magi follow him, where they find him possessing a Candy Person, who has been warped into a muscular figure by Little Dude. The Magi explains this by saying, "Whomever the hat possesses gains the proportional strength of a hat!" In " Reboot", Finn's Grass Sword detached from his arm and fused with the Finn Sword which combined into Fern. He then has a light gray mechanical arm as of " Two Swords". In the episode " Come Along With Me", his mechanical arm is bitten off when entering Golb's mouth. Finn states that Jake is "getting fat," even though in " Business Time," Jake can change his weight by using his Stretchy Powers. Though Finn may only be joking when he said this to Jake.

Finn's name was derived either from Old Norse "Finnr", which means "Sami" or "Finnish person", or from Irish "Fionn", which means "fair-headed", "white", or "blond". Finn may have some driving experience. In " Candy Streets," Finn drives Jake after he turns into a car. (This may only be true if Jake wasn't controlling himself.) As of " Betty", Finn is no longer the last confirmed human because Betty Grof traveled through time from before the Mushroom War. Finn is also friends with BMO (pronounced Beemo), a sentient handheld game console who is Finn and Jake's roommate. Finn creates the robot Neptr (Never Ending Pie Throwing Robot) as part of a prank, but NEPTR soon becomes a friend to him. Finn ends up developing a close friendship with Marceline the Vampire Queen ( Olivia Olson), despite her initial role as an antagonist. In " Conquest of Cuteness," Finn was shown to have a crossbow. He uses a different one in " The New Frontier," although it appears he is less proficient with it than with a sword.Little Dude's ability to possess people and be the host is similar to DC Comics supervillain, Starro. Also similar are the symbiotes Venom and Carnage from Marvel Comics. Finn and Jake frequently use math terms as catch-phrases and at times censors for curse words. However, they are shown to be terrible at math, as confirmed in the episode " Slumber Party Panic." (Examples of these words include: mathematical, rhombus, algebraic and math). This was utilized less frequently as the show progressed, though it still occassionally appeared.

Finn being referred to by others as "Finn the Human" parodies how characters in fictional works with only one name are often referred to fully by both their name and their species (e.g. Jake the Dog). Finn begins dating Flame Princess ( Jessica DiCicco) in the third-season finale "Incendium", after realizing that Princess Bubblegum is too old to be compatible with him. Although Flame Princess' fiery nature makes their relationship difficult, they try to make it work. Finn and Flame Princess eventually break up. Finn's relationships with both Princess Bubblegum and Flame Princess cause him to have to deal with rejection and reconciliation, and he emotionally matures as a result.Like other Adventure Time characters, Finn is drawn with rubbery "limp noodle" limbs and a simple but expressive face. He has several missing teeth, which Ward explained as being due to the character never having been to a dentist. He typically wears a signature white bear hat, and form-fitting clothing. Finn's visual design resembles Bueno the Bear, another character created by Ward. Finn and Bueno share some other similarities, including an enjoyment of beatboxing. Finn appears to not care for his hair much whatsoever, showed in how he frequently cuts it completely bald when asked (such as in " To Cut a Woman's Hair"), and in " Davey" when he shaves and slathers his hair in molasses, while BMO cries and claims Finn's "beauty is destroyed" and then says he looks like "the devil!" In the episode " The Vault," it's revealed that one of Finn's past lives was a comet. This could have some connection to the Catalyst Comet. This was confirmed in " The Comet," as the Catalyst Comet was, in fact, one of Finn's past lives. This article was nominated in the 2021 Who Would Win Tournament. They only made it to the second round, and the tournament is now concluded. A child in a Finn costume appeared in the Halloween episode of South Park "Nightmare on Face Time."

Flame Princess is Finn's first and former girlfriend. Jake referred to Princess Bubblegum as Finn's ex-girlfriend in " In Your Footsteps," but Finn replied that they "never went steady." Although various other humanoids exist in the Land of Ooo, most have been confirmed by the show's creator, Pendleton Ward, to be mutants, such as Penny, Phil, or the Old Man Henchman. [3] [4] In Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake, it is revealed that the series takes place 12 years after the end of the original series finale, meaning that Finn would be 29 years old at this time. There is a secret GPS implanted on Finn's ear by Princess Bubblegum, as stated in " Lady & Peebles." After Little Dude possesses the man in the alley and then walks up to the horse and punches it out. This is very reminiscent of a scene in Blazing Saddles in which Mongo, portrayed by Alex Karras, punches out a horse. In Legends of Ooo, it is seen that Finn has a telescope that he uses to spy on Princess Bubblegum and Flame Princess. The episode starts off with Finn and Jake running through the candy forest to find the swimming hole Jake mentioned to Finn. Jake says that they should race to the swimming hole, then Finn argues that Jake is cheating because he has to take his clothes off, and reveal his red-and-white underwear. Jake trips and falls and Finn catches up, in just his underpants, and throws his clothes to the ground and throws his hat near a flower. Finn and Jake then jump into the pond to swim. While they are swimming, the flower touches Finn's hat, and shines a bright light inside it. Finn and Jake start swimming in circles to create a swirl.
