Tracking Guest Checkout vs Logged-in Customers?

Postby Persephone » Wed Aug 06, 2014 10:28 am

Hello,

I'm not sure whether I'm just being completely blind - I've been trying for a while now to see how many of our orders came through guests and how many through registered users. I can't find it anywhere, is there any way that Magento shows this information?

Sorry if this a stupid question, I'm a little lost..!

Thanks so much for your help,
Eva

This can be measured via Custom dimensions in Google Analytics. It's not easy to implement that tracking but still possible.

Same as above you need to set up a customer dimension based on there cookie, it aint easy but can be done

Take a look on the google analytics academy on the lesson about eCommerce site im pretty sure they cover it on there
