Worldpay customer email does not display store name

Postby Simba » Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:50 pm

Hi,

I've been working on a Magento site that will soon go live. I've just received activation go-ahead from WorldPay and tested it myself also using the dummy card numbers. The email a customer receives has on it "Description: Your purchase at Default Store View". How can I change the "Default Store View" wording to be the name of my store? Initially I thought it was just a variable I could change, like I have in some transactional emails, however in the Configuration -> Design, it says that changing the wording of "Default/Main Store View" could have implications to the site as there is code referring to it.

Any help much appreciated :-)

Make a back up first, then change the values to the actual store name.

As far as I know you shouldn't have any issues with changing it.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for this. I realised after my post that there is 'System -> Manage Shops' where the values can be changed. Do I click on each link (Main Website, Main Website Store, Default Store View) and then change them accordingly?

Yeah, exactly, unless you are running multiple stores and in different languages, then you could just name them all with your store name.

Again though, I would always back up before doing anything your not sure about.

Thanks guys. I backed-up and then changed the values to my store name, the only issue now is that on the 'invoices' it displays my store name 3 times, one below the other. I'm assuming this is how it will display, unless I have multiple stores.

The values are: Main Website, Main Website Store, Default Store View.

Maybe I could put my company name as 'Main Website', as customers will see that when they get the confirmation email from Worldpay about their transaction?

If you are just using one store, just set the store name at the highest level of configuration and then on the lower levels (website, store) just leave the tickbox set to use default. I think that should sort that out for you.

Sorry, I can't find the tick box you mentioned. I've checked in 'System -> Manage Shops' and other places within Magento but cannot find where this may be set?

Sorry I was talking about system->configuration

in general I believe there is a "store name" field or something like that

I searched everywhere and edited a few things but I still get 3 names appearing on Order Invoices. Sorry if I'm missing something obvious :-(
