About this deal

The lovely Aphrodite was said to be born from the sea foam produced by his dismembered parts. Hesiod interpreted Aphrodite’s name as risen from the foam. But her name is also thought to stem from a word meaning shining, wanderer, and bright. Hesiod mentions two islands in his story about Aphrodite’s origins. Allende’s book is a unique and sensual exploration of the role of pleasure in human experience, with Aphrodite serving as a guiding metaphor. She weaves personal anecdotes, mythology, and historical context to create a rich tapestry of human experience. This book will inspire you to embrace the sensual pleasures of life. Aphrodite Made Me Do It is told from dual perspectives and split into many sections from Aphrodite’s perspective and the poet herself. It is full of photos, doodles, drawings, and amazing things that accompany the poems and make the words pop. They’re all beautiful and colorful, and it adds an extra something to them that makes them stand out.

thank you SO much to my dear friend, kerri (kerrithebookbelle), for getting me a personalized copy of my new favorite poetry book of all time. Nicole slurs out the situation for her, complete with hand motions, and they decide to put Jonas in the trunk. The two stars are solely for this poem : "Men wrote the myths down and called them history, and time has dragged them further from the truth. Pandora’s jar became a box. Eve’s pomegranate, an apple. All the details change but one: it is a woman with her hand on the door to Hell."

There are many places where you can read about Aphrodite and her mythology. Here are some suggestions: As you reach good parts of the relationship, thank them. Thank them for their space in your life, the kindness and the comfort, the happiness, the support. Thank them and release them.

Also, some if not all the pictures and drawing - beautiful - have nothing to do with the poems they are associated with, it's disturbing and it makes the poetry book seem really cluttered, which is highly unpleasant. I’m hoping now that she’s opening up to her this wall between them (sometimes depicted quite literally in shots like this) will come down. Waverly parses out that they must be at a strip club based in the style and volume of the music at this hour and Nicole gets out an “Aphrodite made me do it” before Wynonna takes matters into her own hands and dunks Nicole’s phone into one of the beers. Nicole isn’t mad though; it was the only solution, clearly. The night I was raped, I walked right past my mother and said nothing. I was afraid to be dusted for fingerprints. I was afraid to be called a liar.of my hand. I split a pomegranate in half and let the seeds spill onto my dresser. I pressed some to my tongue. And I sat the rest out for her. Something has been bugging me though, why does Nicole drive the police cruiser even off duty? I doubt they have the resources to allow every deputy to have a car 24/7. Is it because they are a small department and can be called in at any time or is it because she’s “new” in town and never bought a personal car and needs a way to get around town? Jeremy interrupts then to say he has a way to make the venom vaccine but he needs extra hands to do it. While they’re mid-experiment, Dolls realizes Jeremy is actually doing a binding spell, and interrupts him, so they end up inhaling the vapor they were supposed to capture in a bottle. So the binding spell worked…on the three boys. Hilarity shall ensue. The collection itself is a conversation between the goddess and the poet, being split into dedicated sections of the anthology and communicating with one another on similar subjects, from love to war. The collection itself is compiled of prose, poetry and art, and is full of luscious drawings and delicious words, tantalising you and drawing you in for more. Mateer is a brilliant storyteller, using multiple mediums to present her life and opinions in multiple different views. From the pain she suffered at a younger age, to herself as a person now, Mateer guides you through it with colour and light and survival. It’s a truly inspiring read. It is simple. You believe in the triumphs of love despite growing up in full view of its defeat because you are brave.CHAPTER 4
