Big Question: What characteristics of a man or woman of God can be discerned from 1 Timothy 6:11-16? When we find ourselves in trouble of any kind, we can take a deep breath and thank God that he is right there with us. Equally amazing to the doctrine of the Trinity is the doctrine of the Incarnation — that Jesus Christ is God and man, yet one person, forever. Faith is incredibly important because it is the means through which we establish a relationship with God.
The Analogy of Faith And The Sanctification Of Man
As Being itself, God is not static but there exists a constant activity of transmission between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is God seeking the person in, with and through different occasions, people and objects that inducts the person into this awareness. And, if to point his lesson, the Apostle urged a great and stainless name, even that of the Friend of God, so with it would he join the lowly and, perhaps, aforetime dishonoured one of Rahab, that he might, as it were, plead well with all men of every degree or kind. As the Incarnate Logos, He is and will be the end and ever-new, Alpha and Omega, of God showing and giving Himself to man.Females were failed males, argued Plato, and people often read Genesis in the Bible as saying man was made in God’s image, while woman was made in man’s. Some might not understand why the man of God doesn’t watch certain types of movies or listen to certain types of music. Man, in his act of faith in the Son of God, accepts the invitation and enters into God Himself and, in this mutual yielding between God and man in the Christic Mediator, man comes not only to a deeper understanding of God but simultaneously, as if in a single movement, to an ever-spiraling depth of awareness of his own personhood. I charge you before God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who made his good confession before Pontius Pilate, to obey this command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ—whose appearing the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will reveal at the right time.
blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD Jeremiah 17:7 But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD
Man’s faith always relies on and is grounded upon the faith of the whole Church, which is the fellowship of the faithful of Jesus Christ. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. The Witness says “it is so” and the person, using his will, makes the statement his own and is able to see something which he would never have been able to see through his own abilities and talents. The analogy of faith depends upon the credere in Deum in which the person has come through the propositions of faith and is now experiencing the realities of faith themselves. The person who perseveres in love and belief in God, comes to the existential adoration of the Godhead, which celebrates His glory and exalts in His splendor.
