About this deal

The Krytox™ GPL 29X greases have extreme pressure and anti-corrosion additives and have been formulated for applications needing high load-carrying capacity and anti-corrosion protection.

Mình mới nhận được lube Kelowna cách đây 1 tuần nên chưa so sánh trực quan được, tuy nhiên trước khi mix lại thì mình có để ý là DuPont tách dầu rõ rệt hơn hẳn so với Infinity Key. It can smooth out imperfections in the material and help things glide along with less friction and hitches. When it comes to the sound signature of this switch, it is very very muted so there isn’t really much to talk about. There's some community debate surrounding this, so feel free to experiment with your own switches to find the lubing technique that you like best and let us know about it in the comments below.

This makes 205g0 the perfect choice for lubing switches as it is thick enough to smoothen the switch, but not so thick that it'll cause the switch to drag and feel sluggish. For more specific information, please refer to the Krytox™ Lubricants Plastics and Elastomer Compatibility document. This means they are generally harder to find than your run of the mill Superlube or other household lubricants. is recommended for linear switches but with a very light application, this lube may be used for any tactile switch. Overall I would say this is a great option for those who don’t like to lube switches or just don’t have the time to do it.

Wrist rest (optional): The wrist rest is made of Polycarbonate + Alu, is magnet-guided and attaches strongly to the magnets on the slope of the chin, 6 different colors will be available, matching the colors of the top case. Wired Capacitive PCB (including everything except keycaps in the capacitive version base kit; the PCB supports dsk, niz, topre standards, The default slider are MX compatible). It is on the clackier side of things somehow, but what I liked the most about them is that volume-wise, these are not loud at all.Independently tested and confirmed for LOX and GOX use by major oxygen manufacturers and test authorities, including BAM. Low and medium tactile switches may lose their tactility due to their thicker properties compared to other variants. Before adding Krytox™ grease, bearings should be cleaned of all existing greases, oils, or preservative oils used during storage. Spills are difficult to clean, and the lubricant will transfer from an operators hands to any surface they may touch.

The difference here is that the factory lube job ( Krytox 205g0) is now applied by hand instead of by a robot which will provide a much even experience when it comes to how much lube is on each switch. What you want to do is find a zip lock bag just big enough for all the springs and a bit of air so they can move about, put the springs and the oil in the bag, blow some air in as you seal it, and shake. GenesisPC Inc and any affiliated persons are not responsible for any damages which occur as a result of untrained or unsupervised use. I believe many of us get caught up in the right or wrongs inherent of this community but a lot of it is really subtle differences that quite frankly you might not notice when typing daily. Additives are often incorporated into the grease to enhance anti-corrosion protection and raise load-carrying ability, reducing wear.Products from the Krytox family are often graded for their viscosity by number with the lower the number the less viscous it is. If you’re using grease on something like a Tealio or Gateron linear, apply very, very lightly, almost like you’re dry brushing it on. Certain switches have more stem wobble and looser housings than others--you might want to add switch films to help with these issues during your lubing process. Oil can be brushed onto the housing and stem but can also be used more easily when bag lubing springs (I will go over this later). This lube comes in a container which can hold upto 20 grams of lube so the container may not look full.

Use your stem holder--or your fingers--to hold the stem, then like you did for the bottom housing, apply an equal dollop of lube on each slider of the stem, then paint the front and back of the stems including the legs. Some mechanical keyboard builders, myself included, like to use Krytox GPL 205 Grade 0 to lube tactile switches too (despite it usually being recommended for linear switches and stabs).

A small change can make a big impact on the switch properties so we need lubricants that are precise and well measured. The GPL 205g0 is also ideal for pairing with our range of keyboard switches and Durock branded stabilisers.
