About this deal

The best options that we have are the Xerox 7800 and OKI C911, both of which can print on 350gsm card. We do have the Brother HL-L2370DN, which can handle media up to 230gsm through a manual feed slot. This is also a small, desktop printer. First off, wow thank you for answering everyone’s questions!!! you have no idea how helpful you are. There are no printers we would recommend for printing on tracing paper due to how thin it is, it could cause issues with the printer. The same would apply to Napkins due to being fragile.

I don’t know if you can help me, i’m looking for a low cost printer that can take 250gsm card maybe even 280gsm. I mainly print in mono so i was thinking about a laser printer but they’re either really expensive or massive, and tend to make the card curl (do they all do that?). I’m currently using an HP deskjet 2130 but it’s a bit unpredictable and the quality isn’t the best. I’ve got two options, the Canon PIXMA IX6850, this can print up to 300gsm but uses dye-based inks. I’ve attached a link for you to look at below. Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, Printerbase does not offer a printer suitable for your needs. But we do work with Sunangel Imaging, who can provide a White Toner printer.

White Card Super Smooth 250gsm

I would need a laser printer to print paper cards of standard office paper size 68x98mm. The OKI MC363 printer met this condition (the minimum user paper size was 60×94 mm), the problem is that it is no longer sold. Thank you for your comment. We don’t have a Mono laser printer which can reach higher than 230gsm. This can be found on the Brother HL-L2350DW printer: https://www.printerbase.co.uk/brother-hl-l2350dw-printer.html

I am looking into a laser printer that would also allow me to both foil and also make use of the colour printing. For media at this weight we do recommend looking at an Inkjet Printer. My top current recommendation is the canon IP8750

I thought it was a typo until I searched for Samsung model M3820ND and realized this model too exists! Thank you for getting in touch. Unfortunately, there isn’t a great number of Laser printers which reach 250GSM. The Oki C824DN would be capable just about. https://www.printerbase.co.uk/oki-c824dn-a3-colour-laser-printer.html Laser would be the cheaper option in the long term in regards to running costs and so we would recommend looking at the OKI first. Take a look over it, or if you’re after the best quality, the PIXMA Pro 10s is a top rated image printer Other than the Xerox C8000, and given my requirements, are there any other laser printers that you would suggest I consider?
