This is a rules summary template I have created incorporating the standard D&D Adventure System rules and my house rules. The house rules are by no means original, as I lifted most of the ideas from the great contributions of the BGG community. A végső támadóértéked össze kell hasonlítanod a célpont védőértékével (Armor Class). Ha a támadásod egyenlő a védelemmel vagy nagyobb annál, sikeresen eltaláltad az ellenfelet. A felfedezés fázis (Exploration Phase) során kerülnek fel az új területek az asztalra. Amennyiben hősöd egy fel nem fedezett terület szélén áll, fel kell helyezned egy új térképrészletet, majd egy szörnylapot kell húznod. A szörny figuráját fel kell raknod az új területre, a kártyája pedig hozzád kerül, te fogod irányítani a későbbiekben. Everything in the box, other than the manuals, is of superb quality. The figurines alone would easily cost you double what you pay for the set here. And if you paint figurines, which I do, you will have just gained around forty new minis to paint. Joy in and of itself there. The difficulty of an adventure can be adjusted by adding, or removing a Healing Surge token, but other than that I do not recommend making any house-rules as they might break the balance of the game. Keep the rulebook close and make sure no card is misunderstood and misapplied. Battle encounters: If you end your hero turn in a tile with at least 1 monster, you have to draw an specific battle encounter (they aren’t all bad ones, I swear).Yes! Its theme, fairly simple gameplay, and balance of achievement and challenge works well for kids. Everyone loves receiving a treasure. Everyone hates getting a nasty encounter.
Note for various D&D Edition FanGirls and FanBoys- If you are a 4th Edition Hater and can't get past that, you most likely will not enjoy these games as they are based, in general, on the 4th Edition rule set. If you don't know what that statement means, or if you are capable of enjoying what each Edition has to offer, you should have no problems. Hi everybody! After years owning some of the games from WotC and looking into all the variants and custom material you posted here, I wanted to do my “reversion” of the rules so they can fit either for a standalone adventure or a big campaign. And it is! Good, I mean – it’s an enjoyable experience that does not rob you of your time. It’s not great, like it could be, but it’s definitely something well worth having in your collection.I am also amazed how much space a 6/7 year old has in his/her brain to absorb new rules... more than once I've opened an old card game and asked - hmm, how many do we deal to start? - only to have my son answer for me...
