About this deal

Instead it seems very similar to the standard quality we see on devices one or two price jumps above this. Although, make no mistake, it's certainly not better than the average iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, but its good enough to notice a difference from the usual laughable quality we see for this type of money. It really depends on what's more important to you. Where reliability is concerned, you're chances of getting sent a faulty product are minimal with Neocore as they have impressive quality control.

One of the main reasons I bought the E1 was its high specification. If you're reading this review, I'm fairly certain you already know the general base spec of the E1. Android Marshmallow, Ten Inch IPS Display, Quad Core Processor (1.5GHz), 1GB RAM, 16GB hard drive, WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS, Headphone connection, memory card slot, 2 cameras, mini HDMI port and a Micro USB connection. If you do happen to receive a product that has a problem Neocore really put the customer first and offer an excellent two-year warranty should anything go wrong. You won't find a better warranty deal anywhere else for this kind of money. An exception is made with the Alba 8 Inch 16GB being sold over at Argos. Most other competing brands only offer 1 year. With my model only having 1GB RAM, I would imagine it would struggle if your a gamer playing something that requires a lot of memory, like Call Of Duty (COD) etc. I'm no gamer. The most gaming I've blasted it with has been the odd dabble of online Solitaire. But that probably uses less resources than what a standard App uses, so its no measure of how much gaming power it has.The IPS display has a resolution of 1280 x 800. Nice colours, great clarity and sharpness. Viewing angles are great. Observing the screen from funny angles doesn't lead to a washed out, hard to see experience. Also, people looking in from the side at what you are doing, or what you are showing them, can almost see just as good as what you can see when viewing the screen from straight ahead. Neocore have been busy making sure they are ahead of the game by bringing out a newer generation of their very popular and excellent performing E1 model. At this time, the E1 appears to now be Neocore's flagship model. And rightfully so. It's one of their best products.

Some of the good features include: Great build quality for the price, snappy Quad Core Processor, GPS, Bluetooth, twin speakers, 1GB RAM, mini HDMI port, Micro USB and an excellent battery life. Android 8 (Go edition - much more efficient for devices running small amounts of RAM) comes pre-installed. This may not be the latest operating system, but it is very stable, fast, and seems to run extremely well with the framework of this device. EPIC BATTERY LIFE- up to 10 hours. Fast Dual Band Wi-Fi-perfect for watching videos or movies, playing games and reading. Although it should be noted that some customers have claimed the total duration of the warranty does not fully cover the battery, and that the batteries' lifetime is only covered for 6 months. These comments were left some time ago, so that could have changed by now.Certified Google Android Tablet with Google Assistant Built in. Ask your Assistant to play your favourite songs, book a meeting, search the Internet, get directions and much more. Haven't needed to use it properly yet. The most I've used in a "location" capacity has been Google Street View. There is no comparison between how well the E1 can handle a smooth Street Viewing experience Versus my Desktop PC which has Vista 64 Bit installed. In other words, E1 with Android 6 + Firefox, no problems. Desktop PC with Vista (latest Firefox), an absolute nightmare! Mini HDMI connection port is present, making it easy to connect to an external item, such as a compatible television. Although, dependant on what type of connection type the item you want to connect it to has, some people will need to buy a Mini HDMI to HDMI Cable. Or you can use the Cast Screen options if you have a compatible device to link it to. I haven't used the Mini HDMI as of yet. HDMI to connect to a TV, GPS for navigation, Stereo Speakers, 5MP Camera with Auto Focus, OTG USB to connect mouse, keyboard or game-pad, metal case.

And needless to say, without IPS, viewing the screen from different angles can provide quite poor visibility, with the washing out of colours and definition. Thankfully the 2019 model does have IPS. Neocore N1 Tablet Review. The Neocore N1 10.1" (2019 model) appears to closely resemble Neocore's E1 model, which has been out for a number of years now. Don't worry, that's a good thing. Although it's not quite on the same level as the E1 in terms of overall specification, it does share many of the same features. One of those being a real glass screen. There are two speakers built in, and they are not too bad. Small speakers in tablets have always been a weak point. So many of them either sound terrible or have a very low max volume. Sometimes its both. The speakers in this portable computer are acceptable, but nothing worth bragging about. If you want to get high quality sound from this device, at a respectable volume, either use a good pair of headphones, or an external speaker of some sort (wired or wireless).

Samsung Galaxy Note 9

So, to some people this might not be that much of a big deal. Like on many tablet devices, the speakers are a bit tinny. This one suffers from the same issue. The camera is listed as HD quality, and it's a damn sight better than the usual grainy camera quality we see on so many devices in this price range. It doesn't really look like true "HD". Around 5GB of the 16GB of storage space that's inside the machine is taken up by the Operating System. The remainder has lasted me a while because I don't store films or any big files on mine. But over time I have accumulated more files, Apps and programs and have since had to buy a memory card. I bought a 32GB and this has lasted me well. Good thing is, my model can hold anything up to 200GB SD card, so if I do eventually need to add more space it won't be a problem. The newer model (or generation) mentioned above can hold a maximum of 256GB of extra storage space. While the 1024x600 screen is not terrible by any means, being an updated model (2019) it has been kitted out with a nice, sharp IPS display. The older N1's had a rather standard screen resolution, where the quality is still good, but nothing spectacular. Just be aware that while it can handle low to medium resource demanding games (it has a Mali-PowerVR GE8300 Graphics Processor), be careful running any overly demanding, power-hungry games, as they will most probably slow the system down and cause some annoyance. ULTRA CLEAR 2K (better than Full HD) 10 inch Glass Screen (10.1" to be extact). Durable and pleasure to use with Vivid colours and contrast from any angle

Storage plus EXPANSION SD CARD SLOT up to 1TB(1024GB), enough for thousands of games, music, and hundreds of full-length films. The capacity of the battery is big, regularly lasting me around 3 - 4 days, with me using the E1 for about 2 - 3 hours per day. So not bad at all. Charging takes a while, but nothing like some of the tablet PC's I've owned in the past. I know that people usually like to go for the best brands like Apple and Samsung, and yeah, they are good. But even though they are great, in some ways they are overrated. If you need a good cheap tablet, and your only going to use it for a few hours a day to do the general things that most people do on computers these days, Internet, entertainment, communicating, etc, why shell out loads of money on an expensive model when a Neocore E1 can do the job with relative ease.
