Not everything was easy for this pair but they were determined to make their relationship their own. This is one of those books that the minute I started reading it, I knew I wasn't going to want to put it down! I was taken in by the story of Adriana and Gabe from the moment I fired up my Kindle! The Hope Falls series are built with standalone novels but these are keepsakes to me, books to be re-read and cherished. I absolutely loved this book. I have only read a handful of books by these authors, but they have a fan forever. Even though the book is part of a series, if like me , you have only read a couple of other stories in this series, it is definitely a stand alone. Evan is a hotshot firefighter who has been sidelined due to an injury. He is well on his way to recovery but has yet to be cleared for work leading his team. Shayne is an actress who is working alongside Kyle Austen Reed in a new movie she is helping to produce and is being shot in Hope Falls. From the moment they laid eyes on one another they were unable to think of anyone else.
