About this deal

He was shot and killed by his then-employer Damian Cray after he refused to kill Alex and Sabina, claiming that he did not kill children (though evidence in the last book would suggest it had more to do with his reluctance to kill Alex). However he lived long enough to tell Alex to find Scorpia in Venice. Alan Blunt was the former chief executive of the Special Operations division of MI6. Blunt has appeared in all of the novels in the Alex Rider series, (up until Scorpia Rising,) although his role in Snakehead is brief. In this novel Blunt asks Alex Rider to investigate Hugo Grief at the Point Blanc Academy in the French Alps, under the alias of Alex Friend. After the Battle of Point Blanc, Alan debriefs Alex, claiming that the fifteen of Grief's 'children' will be silently executed. He is oblivious, however, to the existence of Julius Grief.

Alex was originally to have had dark hair, but after Horowitz saw several surveys that said teenage girls preferred blonde boys, he created him as fair haired instead. Razim is similar to Shirō Ishii, the Japanese scientist who directed immoral medical experiments, often unanesthetised vivisections, on war prisoners during World War II. Isshi believed that his experiments had scientific value and that he was benefiting the medical fields through his experiments, similarly to Razim, who conducts his experiments so that he can present a scientific measurement of pain to the scientific community.

I have made it my life's work to study pain in all its different forms, and the pain I intend to inflict on you will perhaps be even worse. There are two instruments I am going to use. Earlier today I promised you hell and now, my dear child, it is here

Alex was born on February 12, 1987. The book series originally happens during 2001, making him fourteen. Before Alex became involved with MI6, he wanted to be a professional football player, but now is unsure of what he wants to do when he finishes school. Alex once joked that he wanted to be a train driver. He has stated many times that he is not interested in becoming a full-time MI6 agent.

S C O R P I A R I S I N Gaccelerated. There was a thud as the man hit the fenderand he was hurled out of the way.Two hours later, a man in a blond wig, wearing sunglassesand holding a huge bunch of flowers, boarded the Eurostar train to Paris. Zeljan Kurst hated these disguises, butit was something else he had learned in his long career. Ifyou’re trying not to be seen, it often helps to make yourself as prominent as possible. The flowers and the wigwere ridiculous, and although the police and MI6 werelooking for him all over London, they certainly wouldn’tassociate them with him. As he settled into his prebooked seat in first class andsipped his complimentary glass of champagne, Kurst’smind was focused on the problem he had been given. Theshoot-out at the museum was already forgotten. Thequestion was—who would be the best person to handlethis quite interesting business of the Elgin marbles? There were now twelve members of Scorpia, includinghim, and he mentally went over them one by one. Levi Kroll, the former Israeli agent who, in a momentof carelessness, had shot out his own eye? Mikato, theJapanese policeman turned Yakuza gangster? Dr. Three?Or perhaps this might be an opportunity for their newestrecruit. He had the sort of mind that would enjoy working out a problem of this complexity, along with the ruthlessness to see it through to the end. There was a blast of a whistle and the train moved off.

Drake is described as being in his mid-thirties, unshaven, with silver hair, a slim build and a handsome face. He also suffers from Mobius Syndrome, causing his face to be permanently smiling, something he despises, saying that "I've been smiling all my life even though I've never found very much to smile about". Razim is studying the issue of pain, with the aim to come up with a measurable unit of pain, naming it after himself, by torturing all kinds of members of society, with a teenager being the top of his wish list, as he explains when exposing a French agent to the same experience. Because you crave something deeper than most people, you may feel lonely in the world of humans. It’s frequent for Scorpio rising folks to feel misunderstood. Your ability to hide your feelings contributes to this, too, because others see only the surface of your soul. People you come across may want to find out more about you, but there’s only so much they are allowed to learn. It’s not easy to gain your trust. You instinctively know people’s true nature, and your intuition is rarely wrong. Dr. Greif's clones are not to be executed, and Julius Grief is not present in this season, but otherwise Alan Blunt acts as in the book Point Blanc. More coverage of his involvement in the Point Blanc investigation is shown in the series however, with Alan taking an active role in investigating one of the suspected clones, interrogating him when it's confirmed, and even interrogating Dr. Greif himself. The following is a list of the protagonists recurring, appearing in, or referred to in the Alex Rider series, listed alphabetically. In the most recent book, Nightshade, it is revealed that the two children Alex saw in the photograph in Mrs. Jones' apartment when he was sent to kill her in Scorpia are in fact her son and daughter, William and Sophia. She reveals that their father (and her husband, from whom she is estranged but not legally separated) was "Hans Meyer", a Russian deep cover agent disguised as a German writer; when Blunt told her of "Hans'" true allegiance, she telephoned him and told him that she knew. He fled the country, abducting William and Sophia (who were six and four, respectively) in the process. She believed that she had lost her children forever, until the assassination of MI6 agent "Pablo" in Rio showed that Sophia was involved in the man's death; although she escaped, she was photographed. Alex goes undercover at the criminal group "Nightshade" in Crete, and discovers that William and Sophia, along with twenty-one other children, are the organisation's assassins. By the novel's end, Alex manages to reunite Sophia with her mother, for deprogramming. Mrs. Jones hints that she may end up recruiting Alex to MI6 properly in the future.

Ben Daniels is a minor protagonist who has appeared in Stormbreaker, Snakehead and Never Say Die. He first meets Alex at an SAS training camp in the Brecon Beacons, where Alex was sent by MI6 for training. In Snakehead, Ben secretly kills Anan Sukit, who was attempting to shoot Alex after he had beaten Sukit's fighter "Sunthorn" in an arena fight. Alex later meets Ben again, where he takes him to an MI6 outpost in Bangkok. His role in the series has been compared to that of Alec Trevelyan (aka Agent 006/ Janus) from the James Bond movie GoldenEye. This article relies excessively on references to primary sources. It had destroyed dozens of businesses, corrupted politicians and civil servants, engineered several major ecological disasters, and killed anyone who got in its ways. It was now responsible for a tenth of the worlds terrorism, which it undertook on a contract basis. Scorpia liked to think of itself as the Microsoft of crime - but in fact, compared to Scorpia, Microsoft was strictly small time When Alex suspected that Damian Cray was involved with Yassen Gregorovich, who is a professional assassin. Blunt dismissed his suspicions, leaving Alex to investigate it himself. After events in Paris and Amsterdam, however, Blunt and Jones try to catch up with Cray, realising Alex was right.Ian Rider is played by Ewan McGregor in the film adaptation of Stormbreaker and Andrew Buchan in the Alex Rider TV series. The body is in many cases lean, slim, tall, resembling the heroine chic era. The ascendant in Scorpio suggests strong regenerative ability. People with this placement often enjoy taking care of their bodies. It’s important for them to be attractive to the other sex (or to whoever they want to be attractive sexually).
