About this deal

It’s also 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and free of fragrances, parabens, sulfates, gluten, and genetically modified ingredients (GMOs). Wang PW, et al. (2019). Red raspberry extract protects the skin against UVB-induced damage with antioxidative and anti-inflammatory properties.

I’ve chosen fantastic vitamin E products and I can understand if you’re confused about which one to go for. If price point has not made your choice clear let me try to help you further. One of my favourite oils for sensitive skin as it is very mild. Also good for children and even babies. Sunflower seed oil is super rich in linoleic acid (72%) and lethitin, which makes it a superb oil to help restore elasticity and moisture into the skin. Another way to apply is by adding one or two drops to your moisturiser (feel free to do this in the morning as well, see how this feels for you). I have oily skin. Like, shiny-all-day oily. Most face lotions make me break out, so I must use them sparingly. Versed Keep It Supple Oil is free of parabens, silicones, and sulfates. Plus, it’s vegan, certified cruelty-free, and Climate Neutral Certified, which is a standard earned by companies that offset their carbon emissions. Hair Growth: Friese explains the benefits of blood supply to the scalp include hair growth, saying “The antioxidant properties of vitamin E oil reduces cell damage and improves hair growth. Vitamin E may help create a healthy scalp environment because it stimulates the capillaries, which increases the blood flow to the scalp and encourages hair growth.”

If you’re not 100% convinced yet but still would like to try something similar (a vitamin E product for your skin) I have listed 3 options that might be of interest to you. See what you think: OPTION 1: 100% Natural & Organic Vitamin E Oil 15,000 IU by Healthy Priority – For Wrinkles and Dark Spots While vitamin C is a well-known powerhouse in the hyperpigmentation game, vitamin E has shown to be pretty great at this too. But you’re in for a real treat if you use ’em together because research suggests a combo of the two is better than either vitamin on its own. Reduces premature signs of aging The next level up in concentration is Jason Vitamin E Oil – 32000 IU. This is of extra strength. The higher concentration of vitamins here means more antioxidants, which means it is more healing. This oil is good for diminishing scars and stretch marks. Jason Vitamin E Oil – 45000 IU There are eight types of vitamin E, but there isn’t a ton of research on how they differ in efficacy when it comes to skin care. Another light oil with high amounts of linoleic acid (70 to 80%). With an average Vitamin E content of 34.1mg/100g, safflower seed oil adds even more vitamin E to the mix. Safflower is a great skin oil for acne prone skin because of the high amount of linoleic acid which can help with overproduction of sebum.

Product overview

I also assumed that it would trap moisture, rather than help to hydrate the dry patches I do have around my knees and elbows. Because of this, I could end up with some very sore patches at times. The first thing to greet you when you open this oil is the scent. It offers a rich almond smell and I have to say I like it so much more than I thought I would. Lin T-K, et al. (2018). Anti-inflammatory and skin barrier repair effects of topical application of some plant oils. Sanchez M, et al. (2020). Pharmacological update properties of aloe vera and its major active constituents. Valle-González ER, et al. Personally, if I was to recommend a skin oil for dealing with acne or acne-prone skin I would recommend tamanu oil and/or hemp oil (a mix of both would probably be good). Are There Other Products that Will Do the Same Job Efficiently? At Jason skincare, we have created our own powerful Vitamin E serum and creme formulas for face, hand, and body, which combine Vitamin E with other natural, essential oils for additional benefits - Vitamin E molecules are lipophilic, which means they easily blend with other oils and emollients. The best way to tell whether a vitamin E oil is pure is to first look at the ingredient list, which should be minimal. Ideally, it should only contain alpha-tocopherol and an oil, like extra virgin olive oil. Additionally, look for vitamin E oils that bear a third-party certification seal whenever possible, such as UL, NSF International, or ConsumerLab, as this verifies that the product contains what it says it does and in the claimed amounts. Can I put vitamin E oil on my face? Also high in linoleic acid (65-75%), evening primrose oil is a lovely skin oil to use on skin which is aging, irritated or reddened. It can help with rosacea and eczema and contains the above mentioned fatty acid GLA gamma-linolenic in the range of 10% (responsible for reducing inflammation). It contains the polyphenol gallic acid which helps to speed up the healing of wounds and burns. Tannings in the oil keep it feeling light as well as providing astringent properties.Natural sources of vitamin E include vegetable oils (seeds, nuts, grains, etc). I’m not sure where JASON sources it from, and for me it would be really interesting to know (if you know please leave in the comments area, thanks!). Is There 100% Pure Vitamin E Oil Available Instead? As my skin ages, I know that I need to step up my moisturizing game, and this feels like the next logical step. I’m never sure my regular, daytime lotions keep working through the day. It’s also an occlusive ingredient, which means it helps to seal moisture into the skin. “It helps to improve the skin barrier, which can help soften skin and hydrate it,” says Grossman. Reduces irritation
