About this deal

Then simply pour your ice into your glasses (For different colour variations you can add some normal crushed ice above or below the blue ice), Pour some of the lemonade syrup into the bottom of each glass and top up with either ice-cold water or sparkling water and mix. Voila! Next, we make the sugar syrup, but this is where the method differs slightly. When creating slushies I prefer to make my lemonade syrup as a whole, rather than a simple sugar syrup. To stay prepared, especially during the summer, consider making large batches of blue lemonade in advance. By planning, you can ensure that you have plenty of this delightful beverage on hand for your guests to enjoy. This drink is even more refreshing when served chilled, so store it in the refrigerator before serving. Conclusion

As you know from my many posts featuring the works of children’s book author Mo Willems, we are huge fans. Even as my oldest children move on from picture books, there is a special place for his characters – The Pigeon, Gerald and Piggie. Even as an adult, I’m excited when a new book from the Pigeon series is released because it never fails to entertain me. This Berkshire Blanket inspired by Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! is so nice and ridiculously soft. The second method is probably my favourite though, for a truly magical effect. This way take a little bit more prep time and needs to be made a day in advance but I promise you, it’s worth it! For this I used Simply Lemonade, Mountain Berry Powerade and 7up. You could just as easily make lemonade punch with Sprite, Sierra Mist or even ginger ale.Tip #2: If you are not getting the color you desire for your drink, simple add some food coloring! I like the Wilton food colors because they are vibrant!

And, you might be surprised to know that this isn’t the only ingredient that has this colour-changing effect. Red cabbage water has this very same effect (and can be used for lots of fun experiments with kids).

How to Make Blue Lemonade Punch

The secret blue ingredient we use is called blue curacao syrup. Curacao is a liqueur made from the dried peel of the laraha citrus fruit. It is mainly grown on the island of Curacao in the Caribbean sea. If you love this recipe, please rate it five stars and help me share on facebook and to help other readers in our community! This simple magic colour-changing lemonade is made using butterfly pea flower and turns from blue to purple in front of your very eyes. This magical concoction is sure to impress kids and guest alike! Plus, it uses 100% natural colouring and less than 10 ingredients! Once again, there are a couple of methods that you can use here, either using full butterfly pea flowers or using butterfly pea powder tea bags. I prefer to use the dried flowers though. To avoid this, simply make sure some fo your ice is crushed slightly less, so there are larger pieces. Because these will take longer to melt, they will remain blue in your glass for longer. Thus you end up with this gorgeous blend of blue/pink/purple elements in the drink.

I have worked at Bally's and Paris hotel.casinos, in Las Vegas. I have seen some very famous entertainers, including Liza Minnelli, Penn and Teller, Ray Liotta, Dr. J (Julius Erving), Frank Sinatra and his wife Barbara Marx. and many, many more. When you’re ready to serve up your magic lemonade slushies, it’s time to crush your blue ice. To do this you can either use a food processor or, I have this nifty Ice crusher specifically for slushies because I’m slushie obsessed! (and I love to make slushies for events so need one!)Blue lemonade is incredibly hydrating, making it particularly ideal for hot days when lots of fluids are needed for replenishment due to sweating. Additionally, its blend of tangy, natural sweetness creates a feeling of refreshment that can be tried and tasted with every sip! Tips In a sauce pan, add the sugar and a 1/2 cup of water heating in on medium heat until the sugar dissolves (about 5 minutes or so). This will be the base of your lemonade. To achieve shades of red: add any acidic substance (like juice of lemons, limes, oranges, tangerines, pineapples etc.) If you have leftover blue raspberry lemonade consider pouring it into ice trays and placing it in the freezer. The next time you make this drink, use your homemade ice cubes so that your drink doesn’t become watered down as they melt. In the center, I placed a jumbo vanilla cupcake with a fun “It’s My Bird-Day” candle holder I received from the book publisher.
