The action alternated from light hearted brawls in the streets to real stakes battling in space, so the story never felt boring. Sanford: The former butler of Black Samson who wanted revenge on the Guardians of the Globe for firing Black Samson only to be denied when they were killed.Some of the layouts are a little crowded, especially in some of the fight scenes, and Kirkman's dialogue-heavy pages can lead to some overly dense pages, but the design of the series is top-notch. Lord Argall: The former emperor of the Viltrumites prior to his death and the father of Omni-Man and grandfather of Invincible and Oliver Grayson. Bulletproof: Initially turned down of membership in the Guardians of the Globe, Bulletproof did later join the team and is currently a member. I really liked how even though Mark is a superhero with great strength, he does have an "everyman" kind of quality to him. His mother tells his brother to take him to Earth, so that he can have a life with the people there, because their lifespan is longer than her people's, and he gets adopted by Debbie.Mark is a senior in high school when he begins to develop super powers similar to his dad, and so he decides to fight crime as the superhero Invincible.
