About this deal

Red's Pokémon are tough, so bring plenty of Revives and Hyper Potions. It may be a good idea to have all your Pokémon levels 70-80, but, with type advantages, it's possible with low level Pokémon too (levels 40-65). If you have a level disadvantage, it's a good idea to have moves which do a fixed amount of damage regardless of stats like Toxic, Sandstorm, Seismic Toss, etc. Team Galactic Grunt * • Tower Tycoon • Tuber • Twins • Veteran • Waiter • Waitress • Worker • Young Couple • Youngster Inferred Holocaust: A strange sort of almost invoked example. "Babylon Was Built on Fire / StarsNoStars" is explicitly about an apocalypse in some of its live performances, but the album version leaves out the apocalyptic lyrics. Interestingly, this makes the meaning of the lyrics ambiguous; "StarsNoStars" ("The brightest night I ever saw / Across an empty parking lot / No stars") can be read in the context of the album, which is overall a lament for the destruction of empty spaces by urban development and military action, as an observation about light pollution. This listing is of cards mentioning or featuring Silver or his Pokémon in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Underground Man • Mr. Goods • Mr. Fuego • Pokétch Co. President • Dr. Footstep • Pokémon Fan Club Chairman • Helena • Ketch Appy

In Generation IV, Silver is depicted with two different eye colors. His eyes are gray in his Generation IV artwork while they are red in the HeartGold and SoulSilver games, as seen in the opening animation. What We Loved Was Not Enough" is in (3+2+3+3)/4 (i.e., 11/4) until more than halfway through. And so on. Eevee User • Elite Four • Espeon User • Firefighter • Fisherman • Flareon User • GAME FREAK • Gentleman • Glaceon User The lady inside the Pokémon Center in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, which was the only NPC present (other than the Pokémon Center Nurse), is absent in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.Lyrical Dissonance: Some of their song lyrics contrast heavily with the songs they appear in. This can be Played With at times, as well; the message of "Hang On to Each Other" fits pretty well with the music, but the Cluster F-Bomb feels out of place, though this was probably done deliberately. A 1997 pamphlet describing Gold and Silver mentions that the rival character lives in the same town as the protagonist. This aspect of his character was apparently discarded by the time of the final release, as his hometown was not elaborated upon in the games and it is implied to not be New Bark Town since he seems to be unfamiliar with Professor Elm's lab at the beginning of the game. During the game's end credits, he is seen having a battle with Kris, facing her Suicune with his Ho-Oh. Goldenrod Tunnel • National Park • Pokéathlon Dome • Bell Tower • Bellchime Trail • Burned Tower • Moomoo Farm • Olivine Lighthouse

The other releases avert it completely (though The West Will Rise Again takes its title from "What We Loved Was Not Enough", which takes up the first two sides of the EP). Professor Birch • Mom • May • Brendan • Wally • Wanda • Steven Stone • Wallace • Scott • Mr. Briney • Mr. Stone • Gabby and Ty • Lanette

A SILVER MT. ZION discography

Wanderlust Song: "Goodbye Desolate Railyard" again. The final movement consists of the repeated phrase "Everybody gets a little lost sometimes", first sung by Efrim alone, then by the entire choir. Poké Kid • Pokémon Breeder * • Pokémon Ranger * • Pokémon Trainer * • Police Officer * • Psychic • Rancher • Ranchers * In the Pokémon Gold and Silver Spaceworld '97 demo, his name is シゲル G Shigeru or サトシ S Satoshi. These are Gary's and Ash's respective Japanese names, and correspond to the second entry in the list of optional names for Blue and Red in Pokémon Red and Green.

Sampling/ Spoken Word in Music: He Has Left Us Alone samples a discussion of the New Testament. Some other songs have spoken-word or samples as well. Professor Oak • Mom • Red • Blue • Green • Trace • Daisy • Old man • Bill • Celio • Mr. Fuji • Safari Zone Warden • Copycat • Primo • Koichi Professor Sycamore • Grace • Calem • Serena • Shauna • Tierno • Trevor • Alexa • Cassius • Inver • Sina • Dexio • Gurkinn The starter Pokémon that Silver has will depend on which Pokémon the player chose to bring on Professor Elm's errand at the beginning of the game. As with most rivals, it will be the Pokémon whose type weakens that of the player's starter. Drugs Are Bad: "God Bless Our Dead Marines" lists several drugs that have killed the narrator's friends.Scientist • Student • Team Star • Team Star Grunt • Top Champion • Waiter • Waitress • Worker • Youngster Silver's counterpart in the Pokémon Adventures manga is also named Silver. They share several similarities, such as stealing a starter from Professor Elm, in the manga's case, Totodile, owning a Sneasel, and being Giovanni's son. Unlike his game counterpart, however, he was initially unaware of his father's identity, due to being taken away from him at a young age. In Pokémon Stadium 2, he is simply known as Rival (Japanese: ライバル Rival). In Pokémon battles, this is displayed as Rival Rival (Japanese: ライバル ライバル Rival Rival), since the word "Rival" is repeatedly stored in the game data as both the Trainer class and the character name.
